I saw the smoke from my hand. No lie.
I was tightening something on my fj55 when the wrench slid down and hit the hot starter terminal and arced off my titanium wedding ring.

Melted skin off my finger as I ripped it off. It still has 2 chunks out of the ring and smoothed out scar on my finger.
 
Added a shiny new fuel pump and made a nice 10 mile loop.

One more test drive and it’s off to Texas tomorrow. I really love being able to take the days off to deliver these things and meet the owners face to face.

Took me about 10 hours and about 300 gallons of 87 test. Had a few long delays on I20 and got a nice brisket for lunch.

T G has the Cruiser now. I hope he’s happy.

To close this out it was about 111 hours and around $17k in parts. Feels like a new truck.
