Oh yes. Thats not an issue. The later ones were all bolts
OK good. What size / length did you use? I was going to just find a fine-pitch metric grade 8 bolt that was just long enough for washers and a nut.
 
Got to inspect and put about 50 miles on LP Blue today. What an awesome ride in an awesome part of Michigan

Since this truck has a ball and claw front axle I had to source a 68+ housing and some brakes.

I had a parts pig here I cut the axle out of and a FJ62 axle I bought for the brakes.

This is lot of work and why the super cool pre 68 trucks are so labor intensive to make drivable.

I have the axle ready for assembly. I did not have any 3.70 so Georg is sending them with all the brake stuff and 4 speed stuff.

Yesterday I picked up the Dobinsons……

Not sure. Why? It just needs to be 68 and up. To add the larger birfields from a 60 series you just have to grind a bit.
