Some quick specs = 33" buckshot mudders, dual batts, Snorkle all engine acessories replaced less than 10k ago, mean green alt and starter, dash box. I really dont want to do this, but I just cant afford this thing right now. It has been a nightmare for me. I have put so much into this, and not got enough wheeling out of it. It's a '91 Subaru Loyale GL wagon, grey, decent interior, push button 4WD runs great very reliable. Power windows, ice cold AC, 5 speed, cloth seats, yakima ski rack. It's on Nokia Hakkapeleta snow tires and is just about unstoppable in the snow... It had a crack in the windsheild, and the windows are a little funky but all work from the driver's controller and it's not much of an issue. It has a Alpine CD player but I would like to keep that for my cruiser...

Thinking of selling my FJ40, not sure though. Its a 1974 Toyota FJ40 with spring over, disk brakes up front, It has the f engine with a 3 speed transmission. It's running on 5 brand new 33X12.5X15 Bronco MT (Have about 3-4 inch deep tread lugs). It has generation 2 aqualu aluminum tub with brand new OEM steel front fenders, No rust or rot anywhere. With the help of a mechanic, I rebuilt the engine a few months ago, included in the rebuild were a new crank, new cam, new pistons and rings, all new timing parts (guides, tensioner, chain and gears) all gaskets, seals and bearing, new spark plugs and wires. It also had a professional value job and block honing. The engine runs good and has 4,000 miles on the rebuild. I have been using it as a daily driver and everything works well. I don't know why I didn't post in here before, but I'm moving in two and a half weeks. I can't take my cruiser with me unfortunately so I have to sell it. For $3000 this is the best cruiser you'll ever see. It's worth way more, but I just have to sell it before I move.

Im a new member looking for some help and knowledge. I have a friend that is selling an 84 toy diesel 4x4 that seems to run well but has 4th gear going out. How common are the diesels? He is asking $2000, is that steep? It has a little rust around the windscreen and the motor is fresh rebuilt. Any help would be great.

Next summer my friend and will be traveling from NC to Alaska to work for the summer. we are both college students and therefor dont have TONS of cash. I would love to take my cruiser but it is so unpractical. Gas milliage really counts when one is traveling 5000 miles. We would love to find one of those 4 wheel drive 5 speed toyota vans that were made in the 80's. If not 4 wheel drive at least a 5 speed. Cruise control would be wonderful. We would like to kind of turn it into a little camper kinda thing. I havent been able to find too much info on these things. I know they do exist but the 4 wheel drive 5 speeds are hard to find.
