1974 FJ40 for sale. This Cruiser is probably just a parts truck due to the rust in the frame and body tub, but it does run and drive. It has a good running F-engine with a header. Disc brakes and a 4-speed tranny/t-case have been added to the Cruiser. The later model brake booster used for the conversion. The other good parts on it are the front doors (with good window regulators), windshield frame with glass, hood, fenders, stock roll bar, etc. It also has a BesTop soft top that isn't in great shape, but keeps the rain out. $1500. Located in North Carolina.

I have a 78 FJ40 with 1,200 miles on the chevy v8 conversion. It only has 61,500 miles on the rest of it. The steering/brakes are tight. It has the typical rust in the fender braces and in the quarters. Everything for the conversion was through advanced adapters with headers. 1995 Toyota 4Runner...3.0L V6, Automatic, 4x4, SR5, COLD A/C, rear heat, Sony AM/FM/CD PS,PB,PL,PM,PW, tilt, cruise, running boards, 31" BFG A/T's, cloth interior, towing package, 92K miles. Clean title. Well maintained, good condition. A few minor scratches and dings/dents, but nothing really bad. I just redid the rear suspension with Old Man Emu coils; the stock suspension was sagging and the new coils brought it back up to just above stock height. New shocks all around. Also has a custom pre-runner style light bar on the front bumper, protecting 2 Hella 500 series driving lights. Runs and drives great, has never given me any problems. The 350 was rebuilt only a few miles before I bought the truck and I've only put a couple of hundred miles on it. In the last 6 months I've replaced the drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, starter, fuel pump, oil pan (chrome), new edelbrock carb, accell supercoil and perf. rotor and cap, shocks, plugs, wires, an aluminum radiator...... more than I can remember, over $2,000 in receipts in last 6 months. 32x11.50R15 tires, soft top, bikini top. i saddley need to sell my cruiser. she is a 74 w/ 2f engine, 4 speed tranny, 4" lift, man-a-fre headers, heat fluid raiser, rebuilt carb, front dics brakes, custom bumber, 6 point cage, needs tune up, passanger door wont open w/ hard top on, she sits in 31" big "O" ATs, custom exhust, 4 point harnesses, 87 celica seats, been rolled once, daimond plated sides, minor front fender damage, 31 thousand miles on rebuilt engine (no paper work) aux front and rear lights, rear door rusting off. asking 3500 obo. might be able to have better pics if you want. i live in gunnison CO, about 4 hours SW of denver.

i have a 1978 fj40 with 61,000 original miles. i converted it to a very powerful 283 chevy with barely 500 miles on it now. the top and doors are PERFECT. there is some rust around to quarter panels but no holes. the fenders do have a rust hole in each side where the brace runs across. the undercarriage and floors are very clean. i am asking $6,000 and i live in Rexburg Idaho. if anyone wants to trade a late 60s/early 70s mustang fastback/mach 1 I would be interested.

I have a 1962 FJ40 with unknown miles with original f motor but runs very good. it is very original and pretty rare because of its age. there is a battered soft top and wood half doors. there is a rust hole under the driver's seat and in the rear. the seats are in good shape. there is a split in the front bench seat where the passenger sits. the other seats look very good. there are plenty of dents and the right front hub is out. It is located in Rexburg Idaho. I am asking $2500.
My older brother is going out to colorado on 2 weeks. he will come home in the spring and my dad is thinking about buying a nice one out there and having my brother drive it home. If anyone has a nice 40 that will be up for sale around early next year please tell me. As little rust as possible and less than 100k. Also lift and winch would be nice. 1983 Toyota 4x4 reg cab long box. Red ext, brown int. 22r engine w/5 speed tranny. 130,000 ish miles on vehicle/engine. Runs excellent. Cold AC. power steering. No box, has nice flatrack with treated wood. Solid axle. Frame needs some minor patching on driver side, nothing that cannot be fixed. 31" dunlop tires.
I would keep it, but the woman says I have too many vehicles already. Nice truck that would make a great DD or turn into a mudder/rockcrawler or whatever. Needs really about 1 nites worth of work and a driver.

Meticulously maintained FJ40, 1975. Later model power steering added, well tuned Weber 32/36, gets 15 miles per gallon, Crane Cams electric ignition. Man-A-Fre heaters, heat riser kit, 33 x 10.5 (skinnier) Buckshot Mudders, set of 5 on OEM rims. Stock suspension with Conn-Ferr shackles to lift it and shims. Front disk brake axle. Some minor surface rust. Other than that completely original, seats and all. Super dependable and will easily make it anywhere in the country, also cruises at 75 mph no problem....
Runs and drives very very well, 100% dependable. All buttons, lights, heat, swithces work. Not sure I want to sell it but I have a FJ55 project I'm trying to finance. If I got $7500 out of it I would probably sell. Came from TLC...
