I saw and test drove this truck a few weeks ago. It looks great and runs really well. Someone buy it so I can stop second guessing my decision to pass on it! According to AutoCheck the current owner is only the second owner and the truck has been in Washington its whole life. I believe it sat unused for about 15 years but the current owner has done the work to get it road-worthy again.

Hey, I'm a newbie looking to get into my first Land Cruiser. I'm looking for a manual transmission HJ 60, BJ 60, or BJ 62 (preferably a Canadian market vehicle). I'm looking for something with a solid chassis, no excessive body rust, and ideally no major engine problems. I'm looking to spend between $10, 000- $20, 0000 cnd (so $15000 usd max). I'm located in Toronto, Canada, but I'm searching all across Canada and the US.
Also I'm looking for some friendly advice/opinions on two Land Cruisers that I've already been considering online. Can I post about that type of thing in this thread, or should I do that somewhere else?

Sadly, I need to sell this, it's going to need a lot of TLC, but it's a survivor, all stock except front seats and tires/wheels.

I have rebuilt the carb, new fuel pump and replaced all the worn out smog VSV's, and checked everything else. It runs well and has good (typical) power, and NO SMOKE. To pass smog, it will need to be fine-tuned to meet the strict CA levels. Registration is not current but all fees are paid on the title.
Brakes are decent, has some rust and some right side body scrapage, paint is thin.
I have the engine side gasket and the oil pan gasket, I was always going to get at those but didn't make the time!

So many things done to make this truck unstoppable.
Body rough, frame good -- to the best of my knowledge. Engine runs well 3B (no compression #'s available). Needs to be trailer-ed because throttle cable is sticking. OME 2", steering linkage, calipers, and radiator about 6 yrs ago. Was my daily driver for about 7 years stopped driving it about 2 years ago. I prefer to talk over details/questions if you PM your # I will gladly call to discuss additional details, I'm not real big on typing. Could only attach 5 pics??? Canoe not included. Yes I have front bumper and a few misc extra parts including tan front seats from a 97(?) camry. Windshield glass is cracked. Mounted a snow plow, but didn't get to use it...long story. I am trying to gauge interest and get some help with a valuation on my '88 FJ62. I've recently accepted a new job which will change up my commute and I need to make a daily driver change.
Here's the story: About a year ago I purchased this FJ62 from a local dealership that deals in older/vintage cars. I financed it, which at the time seemed alright, but on this end of it, all was probably not the best move on my part. I mention this because if anyone is interested they'll have to go with me to the bank to clear the lien.
It's a red FJ62, no rust apart from some super minor superficial surface stuff. Some minor bumps and scratches...

Reluctantly selling my 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser. I just drove this truck from California to Kentucky in three days 2,400 miles, ran perfect the entire way. Drove it from Wyoming to Yosemite before that. @2500 rpm it runs 65. Cruise at 70 no problem. Engine rebuild and desmog at 175,000 miles, very strong 2F. Has typical rust, fenders/quarter panels.
