up for sale is my baby, 83 FJ60. 184,000 miles Truck runs great, great brakes shackle lift swampers included. the only mechanical issue is a fine crack on the oil pan wear the skid plate is welded to it and a recent differential seal leak (front). 2500.oo or best offer. any other questions just ask I will respond and answer as quick and as best as I can. located in Waconia MN. 87 toyota landcruiser, 148k miles, 4spd. interior is near flawless. engine still runs strong. there is rust issues around the wheel wells and on the rear hatch and tailgate but the chassis is still firm and there are no holes on the frame. i have put over 1k into it over the last few months. it has a new cd player and 4 new 120 watt pioneer speakers installed.new cap, rotor, and wires. their are newer tires w/ 80% tread still left on them and very shiny chrome rims. i have new shocks, bushings and shackles but i have not installed them. 2500 or b/o willing to trade for a sportier car thanx for lookin

For Sale is my 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 which I bought new. I had many incredible experiences with this vehicle which has been carefully maintained. It now has 184,000 miles. I used it as a daily driver and for camping until I bought a new daily driver a few years ago.

i bought this rig to part it out but it actually runs pretty well, just needs some TLC. 250k miles on it.

the bad:
reg is 3 years out
t-case has a leak
some mild rust on a 2 ft section of the roof

I don't want to, but I should! Lots of house projects have forced me to put up my 1989 FJ62.
Here's the scoop:
I am the third owner and have had it for the last 5 years when it had 100K, the second owner was a family friend that bought it from the dealer with 20k on it. It is in very good condition (with a few minor items listed below) that gets a lot of compliments when ever it is driven. The interior is in very good condition (not even a rip in the side of drivers seat). There is 3 areas of surface rust (explained below).

Selling my Toyota Land Cruiser that I just took to Utah from California last fall.
Passes CA smog emissions perfectly.
I have had it one year and this is what I have done before I drove it to Utah:
Just sealed everything no leaks, fluid nor exhaust.
Resealed that pesky EGR pipe, oil pan and valve cover.
New catalytic converter and muffler.
Replaced all belts, H2O pump and got the AC to pump cold.
It has stock springs with 32X11.50 BFG all terains with 85% tread, Bilstien shocks in front.
Body is very straight, paint is fading and has bad scratch in the front pass fender behind the bumper as seen in the pic.
Passenger seat has tear in rear back, passenger cushion is earlier style...

This has been my DD for about the last year and a half. I purchased this truck from its primary owner. The truck overall is in good shape. The body has usual spotty landcruiser rust, with the worst spot on the drivers door. The rear hatch/tail gate are virtually rust free. The interior is in really good shape. No cracks on the dash, or tears in the head liner. The frame is solid, with no major rot.
**I have a 4" thick folder with paper work for almost everything ever done to this truck, including the window sticker from the dealer!
I put a mild lift on it, consisting of FJ62 springs, and one add-a-leaf. I added some greasable shackles as well.

Here are the details:
Description:
1987 FJ60, original owner, 126,300 miles. Pretty clean, owner asking $3k firm.
The bad:
Minor coolant leak in firewall, replacement of small plastic valve will fix it.
Power steering leak, get Toyota rebuild kit and fix yourself(cheap).
The worse is a manifold gasket leak, replace manifold gasket and this rig will last you another 20 years.
Paint is oxidized, typical old Toyota.
One very small rust spot (see last picture) of concern and...
Any year, any condition(as long as its all there) 4 cyl 5 speed 4runner or ext cab pickup, willing to travel.
I love the cruiser, but 4 cylinders and fuel injection are more my thing, and a 5th gear on the highway would be nice. I had an 89 4runner and loved it.

Home made custom interior panels, extra driver side front door and extra rear doors, all with glass. New-fuel pump, alt, air filter, fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, headlights, bypass/heater hoses, brake master, front pads, tre's, BDS front springs, Ironman rear springs w/shocks, and bushings, and some other small things. Was driving along and saw this fj62 body is in desent shape ...rust bubbling out in some spots...but not bad...automatic...red with grey int....it's been there for a long long time (1 1/2 years) ...you may be able to get it for a steal !!! didn't have a price ... thats all i know
No affilliation, but I've seen this rig in craigslist for quite a while now. IIRC, it was originally priced somewhere around $2k...but it's now down to $800.

Mechanically in great condition. Needs very minor body work and a nice paint job to become a $12k-$14k beauty. I bought it several years ago as an extra vehicle with the idea of having the minor cosmetic restoration done and keeping it. I have changed my mind and decided to keep the '96 LX450 (because it's the first year they were made).
In October '06, had the transmission (& transfer case) replaced with a used transmission purchased from cruiserparts.net, however, I also bought the one year warranty, that is transferable. I have had absolutely no problems with the replacement tranny...
