I have to let one of my cruisers go. It is an 84 FJ60 that has very little rust. There is surface rust on the frame, but that is about it. It runs and drives, but does not pass Oregon DEQ. The interior is complete and in decent shape. Have an extra tranny and passenger front fender included.

Original California Car, has only spent 1 1/2 years outside of California . Body is in excellent shape with only a little rust showing on the front bumper; otherwise, the body is completely rust free.

1985 FJ60, 94,000 mile original-The bads? Lots of NY/NJ rust, not limited to the rear 1/4 panels, front fenders........Consider the body poor........The frame seems to be good.
The entire exhaust system will need replacement-The manifold is cracked, and I'm SURE that there are exhaust leaks from other components.
The air rail is shot. Oh-No handbrake, either.
The goods? Everything works fine in the car-From defrosters to lights. Radio removed for my other car. I just replaced the starter and slave cylinder.
4wd is great, clutch and brakes are fine.
I'm also including a new, never-run weber 32/36, and 6-to-1...

I am selling my 1989 fj62. I have owned this truck for 7 years and used it as a daily driver. It has 167,000 origonal miles on it and runs great. The interior is perfect except for the tear in the drivers side seat. There are 3 areas of minor rust on the body, none of them bigger than a silver dollar. Some minor body work on these areas would make a pretty perfect cruiser. The transfer case was rebuilt profesionally 3 years ago. The brakes were completly redone last summer as well as brand new 31" tires. It has a new alternator and water pump. There is a slight leak in the seam of the radiator. The underbody is very clean, There is some surface rust in a few areas, but thats it. Here's the thing I was rear ended 2 years ago...

here's what i know about it:
1986 fj60 with one owner always been in norcal so no rust. it does have a couple of issues as far as the body is concerned though. the passenger front door was open too far (not sure how) and got tweaked along with the front fender. might be repairable but probably easier just to replace them. also, the rear bumper (kaymar) got pushed into the body on the driver side. both the bumper and bodywork are easily repairable.
the engine does'nt run. not sure why. the trans and t-case were rebuilt less than 2k miles ago along with a new clutch. rides on 33" BFG ATs on stock chrome rims. it's got a confer roof rack. the interriro will need some attention cause...

ENGINE Stock 2F has 30K on it, runs like a dream. Pulls hard and accelerates like new. JIM C carb newly installed. New OEM fuel pump and all vac hoses and anything that was iffy from engine storage has been replaced with new OEM. Receipts.
Comes with uninstalled Alpine headunit. Already wired.
BODY has 201K on it.
Frame is near perfect, almost no surface rust.
Body has some suface rust and rear quarter rust but nothing horrible.
Shallow dent on DS door.
New drive shafts.
New front brakes
rebuilt tranny,transfer,knuckles,diffs.
Interior clean
small typical DS seat vinyl tear
headliner not perfect but not bad.

I am sad to list my Cruiser for sale. The only reasons I am selling are due to increased financial demands and some nagging health issues.

Some rust bubbles around wheel wells, as well as rock chips, nothing bad though. Some white streaks down rear of passenger side with slight dent just in front of tail light. Drivers side tail light lense cracked with small part missing at top.
Interior look very clean, had seat covers... Could be good or bad....
Overall a sharp looking truck.

I just picked up an 89 from a fellow cruiserhead in Jersey, sad to say the wife, who is very hormonal due to here pregnancy was not happy, I think she thought it would have been like my last 80 series. Needless to say I am going to have to part with it, probably needs a knuckle job, does drip some oil, may need a new battery as it's not holding a charge.

I drove this 60 to my back yard, pulled the good transfer, trans and put it in another truck. I paid $1500 for this 60 complete. It now needs a trans/transfer to be whole again, but its worth more in parts I'm sure. The engine purrs, I think it has 169k??
