Selling an old friend. Our 1985 FJ60 Toyota Land Cruiser. (beluga) Bought this from the second owner who did a lot of the conversions listed below. It has lived in Cour 'd Elene Idahao, Las Vegas, NV and currently in Sammamish Washington. It is a sound rig, with some typical rust areas. Noted in the pictures below. The vehicle over all is in good shape, strong running and handles well off the beaten path. I have receipts for most of the work done including a respray during it's life. $500 O.B.O. 1985 FJ60 264,939mi Clean CA title. The Truck has an exhaust leak somewhere between the head and the manifold and has cooling issues so I'm selling as a parts rig. The body is rusty, the passenger side windshield piller is rusted out and there's rust in all the other typical areas. The interior is in decent shape it's a little moldy from sitting but there's no rips in the seats or door panels just a few stains. The panels in the cargo area are ripped. All the glass is in good shape with the exception of the windshield which has a few rock chips. I was going to part it out but now I'm moving out of state and I can't bring it. We've got a 1987 fj60 90% parts rig for sale. It was rolled and so good body parts. Interior is not good, other than dash parts, speedo, switches and such. BUT, it has a 2f w/177,000 miles,(builder?) with all smog, factory a/c complete, and everything else under the hood. Tranny shifts good, t/c gone, factory p/s all there. Everything is in tact as far as the axles, springs, brakes, wheels. We don't have the time or the room to strip and part out. $600.00 OBO and haul it away. Edit: Sold! To somebody on this forum, as of 2/8/07. Posting this for a guy who called me today, needs to get rid of a 1988 FJ62. What he told me: Auto tranny won't go in any forward gear. But it will go in reverse, so it's not completely dead. Engine runs fine. engine rebuilt @160K, has 220K now. Rusty body, smittybuilt old-skool tube front bumper. Was his DD until tranny went out. Vehicle is parked on Warren St. in Short North neighborhood of Columbus, OH. Got the dreaded orange tag yesterday "This vehicle must be moved 3 days, or else." So he called the scrapyard, they can come get it monday for $200/ton. Or you can buy it for $500 OBO. If you want it, you gotta get it before the cops or the crusher takes it away...

FOR PARTS OR FIX..This truck needs a new owner.I have had for a while and storage is killing me.it had an engine fire on carb.side of motor,and torched everything plastic or rubber under hood on driverside.this all happened about 13 years ago. I have a 1985 FJ60 that needs to go. It has a rebuilt motor with 42K on it. There is no smog equipment except for the cat. Here is a list of stuff that has been done: OME Suspension, Quick release sway bar up front, New 38/38 Weber, New cat back exhaust from Man-a-fre, 6 to 1 headers, 5-BFG 33x10.50 All Terrain with 3k on stock chrome rims, New Warn hubs, new clutch kit, motor mounts, 4 core radiator, all hoses and lines replaced, Shackle reversal kit installed, skid plates for u-bolts. There is some surface rust in the usual spots that has been treated no rot through except behind the driver side rear tire was bad which was cut out and treated, for the most part a very nice cruiser. But there was some rust on the rear hatch and acording to the sign in window of a lost title would have to be filed. But hes only asking 1500. I recinded the deal. Then decided to keep it. Then I broke my leg. Then a bud of mine made me a deal on his 80 I could not refuse. Now I have two awesome cruisers. One must go.
