I have a very rust free fj60 for sale. Unfortunately it has truck liner paint but was originally red. I bought it out of Texas. It has a jasper 350 with 7000 miles that was installed 9 years ago at a shop in Texas. I have the receipt from the install. It still has factory toyota 4 speed manual transmission. It does not have an ac compressor but could be easily sourced for the 350. Runs very well. Recently had fuel tank cleaned and new carb installed. Tires have lots of tread but are weather cracked. Brake master cylinder is new. Clutch master and slave are 3 years old.

When I was down there we put in a refurbished 2H checked through trans and transfer and birfs. Mechanically car is sound. Needs wheels and tires due to sitting and I’d check seals as well. Just dropped oil pan and replaced gasket no leaks now! The hood is rust free frame, no big rust on body (little on pinch welds). We went through and cut out any rust and patched with steel. 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 owned since 2007. $16,000. Rebuilt 2F with new 0.02" over pistons, and a Delta camshaft. The head was rebuilt to accept larger SBC valves and springs. Very little body rust. One small spot on the cowl and one pinhole in the roof gutter. Frame is in excellent condition. A section of one rear quarter panel was replaced with a donor cutout when the truck was repainted. The previous owner installed an aftermarket sunroof and removed the headliner. I also have the original block and a donor roof section to replace the sunroof if interested. The A/C works, measured 35°F at the vent, although the fan is stuck on low speed. Selling my 1989 FJ62 cruiser. I purchased the truck from the original owner (Ed Andrews) in 2018 and have been using it as a weekend driver since. Ed used it to drive the NC/SC/VA interstates taking soil and water samples for the state/local governments. He kept it garaged and maintained at a Raleigh Toyota dealership. The truck has 193,000 miles. (Unless otherwise noted, all items below have been installed / performed within the last 2,000 miles.) The exterior of the truck is extremely solid, is 99% rust-free, and it looks very good, with only minimal dings. This is one of the best outfitted, cleanest 60s I’ve seen.
