Hey all just had a baby so unfortunately cruiser dreams have to go due to expenses…. Listed is 1987 HJ60 that i had while living in Nicaragua. Finally got it imported after 2 years and now have to sell due to family changes.
Asking here on MUD $12k OBO. (Trying to not lose too much here)…
When I was down there we put in a refurbished 2H checked through trans and transfer and birfs. Mechanically car is sound. Needs wheels and tires due to sitting and I’d check seals as well. Just dropped oil pan and replaced gasket no leaks now! The hood is rust free frame, no big rust on body (little on pinch welds). We went through and cut out any rust and patched with steel. It was resprayed then but it’s not the best…. spray some fading on roof where rack was.
Also has rear sliding windows, and front vent windows. Seats were recovered by a previous owner I drove it around the block but with the tires currently on it would need to trailer it away.
Bad. Passenger rear door card has ripped through. No radio, gauge cluster doesn’t work. no seatbelts installed ( but have some to throw in! I also have some more window winders and door handle guards, the toggles for ac. Although somewhere in the last year or so someone stole the ac compressor…. I need to sell quickly so that bills don’t pile up.
