Fellow Cruiserheads, the time has come to lighten the load so I am looking at selling my 1988 FJ62. I am just not using it and I would rather it go to a good home where it will get used.

I love my current FZJ80 but I miss my old FJ60 more... I purchased this FZJ80 in May of 2016 because I needed a daily driver and this was better suited for my needs than my old 60 series. I no longer need a daily driver and I am looking for a strong running and nice looking FJ or BJ60.

Purchased from another IH8MUD member in May of 2016. Amazing built land cruiser. Daily driver.
What isn't perfect about it:
It burns about 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles
I just noticed a radiator fluid leak that I am tracking down, but other than the occasional top up, it is running smoothly.
The electric windows are slow when it is wet or cold.
ARB air lockers have been finicky - I believe there is a leak in...
It's a sad day... I'm selling my 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser HJ61. I can no longer afford the repairs, although just about everything has been taken care of. She's currently in my friend's shop right now finishing up some more rust repairs. I'll have more photos once I get it back this week. Clean title in hand. True body, frame and engine mileages are unknown; all in great shape though.

Checking if anyone is interested in trading their 62 series for a built up and extremely well running 94 FZJ80 with fresh head work done by Torfab last year. Engine hums and idles perfectly and have driven it 1500 miles straight without stopping through some hot weather without skipping a beat. It's only been lightly taken off road mostly on washboards for camping purposes. Rust free. Non locked. Paint is aging a little with minor small dings, interior is cloth and in great condition. Looking to trade because I have another 80 have always loved 60s.

Rust free west coast straight body now located in Northern Virginia, 12v, 1987 Fj60 with 12ht h55f powertrain conversion. Second rebuilt 12ht long block, cable lockers with many useful parts (see below) -- $38k for all the above/below. If there are specific photos or questions I’ll update as this goes. As-is and I factored in buying both. I would currently not like to split the rebuilt spare HJ61 motor and cable lockers, however offers considered. It’s truly a wonderful vehicle an will put a smile on your face. The redundant parts, spare engine, etc. were for big plans. Never needed. Highlights:
Excellent running...
$4900... Pretty rusty, but I've seen worse...(and many better!) Rear frame sections should have stiffeners removed/replaced or just box the frame back there. This truck is fun "as-is" I'm not sure if it's worth fixing up. It could be made better with some work, however it will never be a "NICE" cruiser.
NEW: Starter, alternator, all brakes, including calipers, pads, master cylinder, aluminum radiator, new thermostat and hoses, plate style trans cooler, rebuilt shifter, all new exhaust front to back, with bosch 02 sensors, new fuel pump (Denzo) new fuel sender, and lines coming up out of the tank. Newer (under 5000 miles) 33" ko2 all-terrain tires on freshly painted tacoma 16" wheels. (with 2" spacers) New rear shocks, new steering...

Up for sale is a rough, but in my opinion, definitely worth saving, FJ60. Needs work to get driving so it'll need a tow. Purchased not running, I deleted most of the smog/emissions plumbing, replaced the carburetor with a non-US model and fuel pump, and got it to a point where it'll fire up, but needs tuning to idle off of choke. Brake line blew out when I tried to drive it so that'll need a fix as well to get it on the road. Compression is 130-140 in all cylinders, but it does smoke on warmup, so a valve job might be in it's future. (I did add some seafoam to about 5gal of gas in the tank so it's entirely, entirely, possible it's just burning that off.) Body panels are rusty and dented, but the frame is in real good shape. Well, in a turn of less than optimal events (thanks overvalued tech industry...), I am needing to sell my 88' FJ62. I purchased it about 2 months ago and had several things done to it. I had it repainted to Toyota Amazon Green. There is absolutely no body rust on the vehicle and there is no frame rust either. There are a few rusty bolts underneath but nothing of concern. A couple of notes:
Previous owner replaced spent Automatic transmission with 4 speed; 6/21 Mechanic checked transmission fluid, viscosity, etc... and commented that it looked great.
3F Engine all but rebuilt with lots of new gaskets, hoses, etc...
Tune-up done two weeks ago, mechanic commented that nothing was wrong or nothing of concern

I bought my first FJ60 in 1999. It was bone stock. It was my first Land Cruiser but not my first Toyota… that would have been in 1974 with a 1973 Corolla GT, followed shortly by a 1975 Celica GT. I now own the 60, a 1978 FJ40 and a 1966 FJ45LV project. In any case I’ve been a Toyota guy for a long, long time.
I’m selling the 60 because I’m getting older and want to spend my time building the 45LV and doing more exploring and less wheeling.

Up for sale is my 1986 Toyota Landcruiser FJ60, converted with a 5 speed (H55f) manual transmission mated to a Toyota inline 6 Turbo diesel 12HT engine (originally installed by Man-a-fre in California)
The cruiser sits on an Old Man Emu front and rear Dakar springs suspension, with Man-a-fre rear shackles, front shackle reversal and sway bar links.
The wheels are 15” alloy Mojave wheels with 35x12.50r15 BF Goodrich KM3 tires with 95% tread life remaining (purchased 2019) - very little use.
