1988 FJ62 - Athens, GA - $16,500
Well, in a turn of less than optimal events (thanks overvalued tech industry...), I am needing to sell my 88' FJ62. I purchased it about 2 months ago and had several things done to it. I had it repainted to Toyota Amazon Green. There is absolutely no body rust on the vehicle and there is no frame rust either. There are a few rusty bolts underneath but nothing of concern. A couple of notes: Previous owner replaced spent Automatic transmission with 4 speed; 6/21 Mechanic checked transmission fluid, viscosity, etc... and commented that it looked great. 3F Engine all but rebuilt with lots of new gaskets, hoses, etc... Tune-up done two weeks ago, mechanic commented that nothing was wrong or nothing of concern Basic paint job done my...
Long Island, NY - Built 1986 FJ60 - REDUCED
A little background. I bought my first FJ60 in 1999. It was bone stock. It was my first Land Cruiser but not my first Toyota… that would have been in 1974 with a 1973 Corolla GT, followed shortly by a 1975 Celica GT. I now own the 60, a 1978 FJ40 and a 1966 FJ45LV project. In any case I’ve been a Toyota guy for a long, long time. I’m selling the 60 because I’m getting older and want to spend my time building the 45LV and doing more exploring and less wheeling. Acquiring that 1985 FJ60 was the thing that initiated the formation, with my good friend Jon, of the Gotham City Land Cruisers and the first run of the Coal Mine Cruiser Classic in 1999. I have been an active member of the TLCA and the LCML since 1999 and ih8mud (woytovich)...

1986 FJ60 converted to 12HT/H55f 5 speed
Up for sale is my 1986 Toyota Landcruiser FJ60, converted with a 5 speed (H55f) manual transmission mated to a Toyota inline 6 Turbo diesel 12HT engine (originally installed by Man-a-fre in California) The cruiser sits on an Old Man Emu front and rear Dakar springs suspension, with Man-a-fre rear shackles, front shackle reversal and sway bar links. The wheels are 15” alloy Mojave wheels with 35x12.50r15 BF Goodrich KM3 tires with 95% tread life remaining (purchased 2019) - very little use. I realize the spare is a Method wheel, I have a spare Mojave wheel in the garage. The buyer can have the option of either the Method wheels or Mojave’s. The Landcruiser has at some point been repainted with the factory matched silver color, but has...

This rig has just over 260k miles. It was sold new in CA and remained there with its owner until 2021 when it came to AZ. I have extensive service records for it including original window sticker, and a receipt from a Toyota dealer detailing a new transmission install. It has been lovingly cared for, which is apparent in the original paint/body work and in how well it runs. I have recently installed the Old Man Emu 2” heavy duty lift kit with extended sway bar links and brand new BFG 33x10.5” tires. It runs and drives very well. A/C blows cold even in our AZ summer! This is a very clean cruiser, inside and out. There is some minor bubbling on the bottom of right rear door, and the passenger door has some rust. All sills are good and...

Virginia: 1987 HJ60 Diesel Landcruiser
This is a Diesel HJ60 Land cruiser (346,000 Km in miles that’s roughly 214,000 miles after its converted) this “G” trim package and model never made it into the states. It would have been brought down from Canada at some point in its life. I own and have owned several of these trucks/parts for them and this is by far my favorite Land cruiser Trim package offered in the 1980s. Looking for a clean FJ60 or FJ62 with an LS/Vortec conversion
I'm looking for a clean FJ60 or FJ62 conversion out there. Yeah I know - so is everyone else! No preference on auto or stick. Would prefer a newer 5.3 or 6.0 motor. No preference on iron or aluminum. Not looking for a 350 though. I currently have a 1988 FJ62 that I love, but that 3FE is hurting with 33's and a 2" OME list. Pic below. I have about 230k miles and it runs strong. I've looked at shop conversions and can't swing 25-40k for the conversion right now. Not sure I wanna undertake a conversion myself. Almost thinking that keeping my 62 and just buying a clean conversion is the way to go. Watching Jack Carr's FJ62 on "The Terminal List" recently with that sweet corvette engine made me wanna revisit a converted cruiser or a...
1983 FJ60 Austin/ San Antonio area
Great starter/project 60. Full disclosure….I’ve only driven this truck on and off my trailer, then parked it in September of 21. Picked it up from a guy in Abeline and he had it on his hunting ranch for years. It’s obviously lived somewhere north early on in its life. Rust in the rear quarters, tailgate and showing signs in the caulk seams at the base of a few doors. The C-channels are delaminating, but the frame is solid. The truck is rough, but pretty much complete. Even comes with a few decoys that were in the back when I got it. I’ve been accused of being a hoarder, so whether someone buys this or not, I’ll consider this attempt to sell a bit of therapy :). Bonus…I’m heading to Saskatchewan Memorial Day weekend from Central TX...
1984 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 Full Size 4X4 2F "RARE full size 1984 North-American spec Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 for sale. VERY SOLID. Western truck, just shipped in. Starts right up. Runs good. Needs a good detailing and a paint job to be perfect. Clear title in hand. These FJ60 cruisers are in HIGH DEMAND these days and regularly sell for over $40,000 when finished. Very easy light project or drive as-is while it appreciates in value." Wow, gotta love CL ads. Asking price on this one is $17,500 and thats probably about $14,000 too high. The wheels alone should be an indication of the problems with this vehicle.
1988 FJ62 Central Illinois **Not Running**
Sadly life has taken me a different route and I cannot put all of the work I planned on doing to this vehicle anymore. Bought off a fellow mud member and it was my daily driver for almost 2 years and really never had a problem with it. It had an overheating issue at one point and I replaced the thermostat and water pump then flushed the heater core. Once I got it put back together I noticed that I had a small hole in the backside of the radiator so I replaced it with I believe a Cruiser Corps? radiator. No issues after that with overheating. Then about 2 weeks ago it wouldn't start one day. It will jump and run but haven't driven it in fear of being stranded. I think it's a parasitic drain but don't have the time to diagnose as...

1985 Toyota Landcruiser FJ60 (H55, OME, 33" KO2's, FJ40 Steelies)
SOLD Up for sale is my 1985 FJ60 in Land Rover white with grey interior. This truck has almost 174,000 miles on it and is in exceptional condition. No accidents, next to no rust on frame and 99% rust free body. Originally a Nevada truck, this FJ60 was bought in 2015 at 153,000 miles by a doctor in Wisconsin who kept it until January of 2022 when I bought it with 173,000 miles on it. He stored the truck during winter months over the course of his ownership, and the mileage and condition support this. This 60 was to be a longer-term keeper for me, but I have decided to sell it to fund an air cooled Porsche 911 project. Items of note: High quality glass out repaint in Land Rover white (originally dune beige) Restored interior Full...
Central TX: 1989 FJ62 Mild Build
Edit: Open to trades for the right Toyota, GMC, Chevy trucks or 100 series cruiser. Just closed on our house and need to fund some renovations. This has been a fun truck, but one of the cruisers has to go. I purchased the truck in Feb. 2021. Flew out to Oregon to pick her up, drove down to Valley Hybrids to have a couple repairs done and get a clean bill of health. Then drove it back to Texas with no issues. Even drove through the 2021 blizzard from El Paso to DFW in single digit temps without issue. I’m willing to ship on your dime. Alternatively, I may be willing to work out a deal where I drive the cruiser to you depending on location and distance. Price is $16,000 SEE LINKS BELOW FOR ALL PHOTOS AND VIDEOS Good: Clean frame...
