A friend recently spoke with an oil scientist. The guy stated older motors should not run synthetic oil due to it not containing zinc, Anyone every heard of this?
In the interest of accuracy, Flatlanderfj40's picture is of Rotella T4 which is their non-synthetic oil and also my choice to use in my 40. Good stuff.A friend recently spoke with an oil scientist. I think it was called the bisselle brothers brewery. I had I think 3 beers and I had a hangover for 2 days it felt like haha. My buddy was saying it was pretty warm for when I was up there. I saw a really really clean fj62 in a parking lot. Next time I am up there Ill have to see if I can meet up with some land cruiser people. I want to go back. I got some amazing photos up there. Hopefully I can take Rachael up sometime next spring.Maine land cruisers are just getting out of winter/ salt hibernation.
