I’d pull the spindles and swap in shorter Birfields before going that route. Parts are only getting harder to find, and if you ever need to replace a birfield you’ll be hosed.

Took the kids camping before it gets too hot. First time with the tent on the trailer. Plan to put doors on the trailer for another sleeping room for the kids or vice versa.

Got married and The land cruiser was a big part of the wedding. It was the get away vehicle! I have to thank @theglobb And father @Shyrock and their family for capturing some epic photos and video for me that I would other wise not have. I am so grateful they came! They are great people! and it was fantastic to have them be a part of this celebration. its hard for a photographer to not take photos at his own wedding too haha. Wedding went beautiful and we are heading to Taos New Mexico for our honey moon next week. Any land cruiser people there please let me know!

If you have that milled down a couple of millimeters it may go back on a little easier. :)

I think that's officially speedi-sleeve territory.

I'm thinking so, at least temporarily. There's a wobble so will be shopping pulleys at some point either way.

Installed Fitech EFI and pertronix ignition. Also finished install of con ferr rear auxiliary tank. Took 3 solid weekends and a few evenings.

Happy to report it fired right up.

Was a Holley 2 bbl before, I just got tired of taking it apart. Con Ferr tank was new old stock I got lucky in finding.

Im sure some will dis approve of not going with oem style carb, but I never had one and wanted to try EFI on this truck.

Here a video link to the FJs first ride in a long time. Ignore my brothers busting stones audio. LOL...
Fender is off until I change out the brake system.
