You know every week I say that I am going to get the engine pulled and every weekend I don't do it. I did how ever get the intake and exhaust off and the started out. I guess that I didn't get it as clean as I thought last week as there is still grime and grease every where. But I am going to have to put things on hold and pick up a second job for the foreseeable future.

Did some digging and...

The original intended Toyota plug 90950-01102 is no longer available. This is found under your fuel tank drain area.
After a good amount of measuring and looking at Toyota “plug, hole” diagrams I found a perfect fit. There are vendors selling this exact “mystery” plug for damn near $20 each plus shipping. This part is $3 from the dealer. And....you’re welcome.

Found out the LED's I used to upgrade the dash lights are the same bulb as the Map lights in my new Tacoma...🤔
Glad I had some extras. Just upgraded the Tacoma map lights!
(Also fits tag lights, too bright for me as it washes out rear view camera).

Drove it over 1100 miles round trip to the Rubithon with my son just like I did with the same truck 31 years ago when I was his age. I was passenger this time. The only issue was the smog pump bearing failed on the way home. We pulled the belt to make it the rest of the way.

I just interesting for some opinion. I thought what plug will keep moisture under tank and increase risk of rust developing.

hole in the floor pan under your fuel tank is a drain hole not only to drain a gas tank, but also to remove extra water condensate from outside of the tank .. this why it also has channels/ribs on the floor pan.

Im familiar with that, but given these have a natural lean back the water just sits on the backside. That is why you see the most rust in those spots. With the seats and hardtop/bikini over I’m pretty sure the water has a better chance of blowing in from underneath.

I think that one is @cruiseroutfit and maybe @theferg had it? That or I'm confused, which is normal.

That's mine. You have great memory. It was sold by @SteveJackson @ LCD to @theferg and Ferg and I did some horse trading on a GX470 build and I got the BJ74. He often wants it back :D

Myles us looking at the AC condensation dripping and I'm walking back from the C-Store. We were headed up AFC with the Wasatch Cruisers.

That’s cool Kurt! Are you the one looking underneath the cruiser are carrying the goods? I did see another cruiser going up the mountain. I believe it was an 80 series.

Dang I wish I would known that. I was just right of you on the side of the gas station parking lot adjusting some paddle boards on a older highlander. I didn’t see the cruiser until I got back on the street. If it wasn’t for me following someone and not having my wife say something to me if I did try to go back then I would have. Just wished I seen the cruiser before I pulled onto the street.
Also when we drove on the interstate I was trying to see your shop when looking on google maps with your shop pulled up on the map but with no luck. I did however go the heritage museum.
Picture of the reservoir the day I saw you two weeks ago today. Beautiful state
