It would be a lot of work @clrussell
@cims1970fj40 I actually used my log splitter as a press to bend the b pillar and then welded off the truck after test fitting
Sorry for the questions but did you bend the tube and b pillar while it rested in its place on the cruiser? The reason I’m asking because I’ll have to take it to my dads to weld it and he’s 1 1/2hr drive from me.
I attached the Samout awning to the rack this afternoon. This thing is awesome. When deployed it’s 6.5’x10’ and easy to set-up. It’s gonna get a lot of use.!!
How was you able to fit the tube of the bow through the B pillar bows? I tried to feed mine through with no luck and will possibly have to bend the B pillar a little more.
After pushing my cruiser out of the just a hair to clean an oil leak I took advantage and checked the rear bow section. It’s obviously clear that the 35’s are going to be too tall to clear. Guess I’m going to have to stick to 33’s.
Man, that is not a big deal. You can do it yourself.

If I lived closer I’d stop by and give you a hand….once you do some Fiberglas stuff it gets to be fun, easy and the end result is very satisfying. Good luck

I’m going to be running a soft top on the cruiser so I have plenty of time to work on the cap if I decide to do it myself. However I did see some rust but not rotted through on the inside lip of the rain gutter so I’m thinking to remove the...
@cims1970fj40 I don’t know exactly what else needs repair from that photo. Based on that, if it’s the holes and a fresh gelcoat, look up Gougeon Brothers West System epoxies. This material comes in many viscosities and applications and if...
I started installing a Front Runner SlimLine II roof rack last night. Finished the job at 1am.
I bought a full perimeter rail kit for the rack so I have many options on rail configuration.
A few shots taken earlier..
