Too late for painting work in upstate NY.. will finish body ... and continue in the spring.... :-(

You are motorboating right along! You will have the kids out riding around in that thing in no time.
I actually never even drive Fj40 :) I have experience driving old trucks.. but never FJ40..
It's sound crazy.. but after years of build.. I feel like I have drive it whole my life. :)

Oh.. I didn't update this thread for the year...

So therapeutic to watch the progress. It all takes so much work, time, and money. It’s looking great! Excited to hear about your first drive in it. After doing all the work you will love driving it, even if it’s a rough ride. Keep up the wicked work!
Thank you for your supporting words. I like rough ride.

...BUT !!!

It is a leak in front .. coolant and oil...

A coolant leak in the water pump.... all the time

Oil leaks (red arrow) in the timing plate.... bolts ? (only when it runs)... probably an overtightened gasket ?
The green arrow is the coolant ..

Looking great. Hopefully it will be on the road by September and you can bring it to the Curtis Lumber car show. I plan on having mine up there.
Yah..I miss it. Have you been there?
