I finally finished removing and repairing the botched bed liner inside the tub. It was peeling and delaminating where I failed to properly promote adhesion between multiple layers of epoxy primer. It sucks because I’ve spent the last several months chipping, sanding and peeling it up to do it again.

Live and learn.

I think the results are pretty good.

I am so ready to prime and paint my interior too. Same crappy spray bed liner over rust and beer can patches. I rust-proofed all the seams I dug the old seam sealer out of. I have been chipping bed liner for months. Also finished welding in new riverside rocker panel.

Finished up the swing out tire carrier. Good for 42 x 15.5 if ever...

She's solid and there's a birfield shaft in the hub so the tire carrier will lock in place when out. Still room for a rack if I ever want to add one. Overall: pleased.

Well done!........ and you’re fixin to add yourself (and swing out production) to small business section soon :grinpimp:

Doing a floor reinforcement, finally. Just finished some pretty major fibreglass and putty work, painted engine bay, Sprayed undercoat throughout frame and tub after grinding and rust converting of course. Looking forward to finishing up the body work on this 76 and preparing it for paint.

Got the saginaw ps conversion started on the 73. Went with the cruiser solutions kit. Seemed pretty complete.
Got the frame crossmember drilled out. That was some knuckle busting wrist breaking fun...
Tacked the mounting plate, glad i did because it needed to be relocated a bit. You would think that mounting one of these would be a one size fits all, but now that I'm in the middle of it, i can see how there can be slight variations in your particular set up that can make getting the mounting a real pita.
Ill throw a couple pics up later.

New LED bulbs along with some foil tape inside the cluster. World of difference. I actually have it turned down a bit. This was sitting in the Home Depot parking lot. The light around the cluster is very even & plenty bright.

Last entry for me on the interior lighting saga... and I didn’t even know this had a light in it :hillbilly:
Once again I have to thank the switch guru @RAGINGMATT for help with this........

As I noted in my build thread in the 25 area, yesterday I drove my ‘64. First time it has moved under its own power in probably close to 15 years.

Granted, I didn’t go far, probably less than 100 ft (30 m) since I don’t have the cooling system complete. Can’t run it for more than a few seconds at a time.

Still, this was a pretty big deal for this truck!
