Very nice. We did my brothers @kmj64 today but had to go with 2” stock for extenders. Functional but wish we had a way to bend metalmade an extended bracket for the plate style spare tire carrier to fit 33x10.50 bfgs.

I am so ready to prime and paint my interior too. Same crappy spray bed liner over rust and beer can patches. I rust-proofed all the seams I dug the old seam sealer out of. I have been chipping bed liner for months. Also finished welding in new riverside rocker panel.I finally finished removing and repairing the botched bed liner inside the tub. It was peeling and delaminating where I failed to properly promote adhesion between multiple layers of epoxy primer. It sucks because I’ve spent the last several months chipping, sanding and peeling it up to do it again.
Live and learn.
I think the results are pretty good.

Finished up the swing out tire carrier. Good for 42 x 15.5 if ever...
She's solid and there's a birfield shaft in the hub so the tire carrier will lock in place when out. Still room for a rack if I ever want to add one. Overall: pleased.

As I noted in my build thread in the 25 area, yesterday I drove my ‘64. First time it has moved under its own power in probably close to 15 years.
Granted, I didn’t go far, probably less than 100 ft (30 m) since I don’t have the cooling system complete. Can’t run it for more than a few seconds at a time.
Still, this was a pretty big deal for this truck!
