That bada$$ H55 and 40 series top plate is one tough act to follow:cheers:.

Been searching a long time for a 6 fuse Teq fuse box cover for a 71. Thanks to mudbrother @offkilter, I was all grins when this arrived. Finally got around to cleaning it up last night.

Was sitting waiting for an office to open this am and my lower water pump hose blew off and made a hell of a scene.

Made me resalize Patina needs a better tool kit.

I’ve had this one running and redone for one year today.

Finished the refresh on the Goat’s motor. Belt. Hoses. Plugs. Wires. Then loaded it down with a 1/2 load of unseasoned oak for next season

Unfortunately not ready for a pic but doing a real mad max mod here. My floor in my 76 cruiser is basically completely rotted out, the issue is I have a very thick sprayed on rubberised floor finish that I simply can't bring myself to cut out as I have no way where I am to replace it.
For this reason, I opted on reinforcing the outside walls of the cruiser with angle steel and adding a sheet of aluminium under both passenger and driver side. I have replaced both supports underneath with tube steel as well as they were paper thin.
Due to the age of the cruiser, the aluminium tub is only in the rear, not including the floor. The floor has now dropped the firewall down to the point that it is affecting the steering.....
Anyways, I will add some pics to better explain the emergency surgery that was needed.

Wrapped up the turbo install on the 3B tonight!

Running a bit rough as its been sitting for 7 weeks or so. Next week when it warms up ill open the garage door and let it idle for 30 mins or so then ill post another vid. Still need to do exhaust but its surprisingly quiet.

OK, more updates with pics! Just saw the new floor posted today, wow. Wish I had the resources here to do that. Instead, I did the following.
An aluminium panel under the driver side installed, bolted galvanized angle iron to the side wall, started the galvanized support install as well.
My driver seat is already bolted behind into the aluminium tub, the front will bolt to the aluminium plate installed. The roll cage will bolt directly to the galvanized support and angle iron for one hell of a stable connection.
The last image is a detail of undercoat, simply because I LOVE undercoating, lol.

Working on finishing my oem soft doors....slowly. Being so damn cold doesn't help with anything, contact cement, weatherstripping, canvas, etc.

Passenger side door is essentlially done minus the handle. It needs paint so who knows when it will be warm enough.

SOR weatherstripping and canvas, Genesis OffRoad wing window rubber and replacement plexiglass.

SOR weatherstripping is really nice; however, it's just one long piece so it requires cutting and glueing for the top two corners.

These look awesome! Nice job. On my to-do list.

I put a new weber carburetor on about a six weeks ago . It ran a100% better but I had not changed the points since I bought it 5 years ago. They finally gave up. If I could get it to start it would miss and back fire. So after not being able to find a mechanic that wanted to fool with it I finally research on how to do it . I dove in this morning did what they said and now I have no spark from the plug wires . Pius none coming out the coil. So I picked up and I will deal with it later
