Mounted some new 35"s Nitto trail grapplers. Only about 50ks on them, very happy so far.

I got a Noco jumoer pack for my 18 wheeler and the 80. If I like it I will get a gb150 for the 18wheeler and leave this one for the 80.

I got one of those a couple months back for use around my shop. So far so good.

Found this in the jack compartment of my 80. What is it?

Finally got some snow in Colorado. Saw @ExpoMax and @NateMob up on Mt Herman when I was in my recently bought $500 94 Subaru Legacy throwing it around up on the hair pin corners. Felt bad I wasn’t in my cruiser but with the amount of snow on the ground the Subaru was so much fun. Later that night the Cruiser got its love, did some snow bashing and pulled out 3 cars. One of which was a supercharged 5.7 Tundra when the guy went off the road hard after preventing a head on with a guy that was drifting into his lane. Was a fun day

My steering column cover was broken when i got it 7 years ago and the JB Weld held up surprisingly well up to this point. I think the cold weather helped push it over the edge - just got too brittle and fell apart. The new one is surprisingly nice

Where’d you get the cover? I’ve been meaning to pick up one...

Why didn't you adjust the drag link?

24 years of rust.

the truck was wandering on the road a bit due to a bad tie rod end so I replaced my toe bar. truck drives straight just the wheel was off center so I recentered it and eventually itll get a new drag link and go on the rack to get a for real alignment

Thanks for the tip! Somewhere on the web, a tint shop advised to soak it down with ammonia, plastic bag it in the sun, wait and it comes right off. Did not try it today. Sundown around now in NY, so instead I replaced the upper hatch outer door handle. It was rusted off, surprised that was the only thing rusted, 10 minute job, but so nice to be able to open the rear.

I used the wife's garment steamer, get an edge started, then steam between the tint and the glass, and it just releases. Worked great.

I didn't do it, but some generous and crafty 80 series owner deployed the portable bathroom for a damsel in distress on the 5 freeway near Gorman...Dilly Dilly!
