@Izzyandsue Thanks for pointing out the LED lapse I had. Pulled it all apart today and reversed the bulb....nothing...then I wiggled the connector around and it worked fine. MUCH better. I thought it just looked like that bc that is how it looked even before I changed the bulbs...so something connected. Thanks!

Also got my interior LEDs for the map, dome, and door lights. I bought them off eBay and got them all for $15 shipped. They even sent me 5 extra dome lights. Work great. If anyone would like the seller name let me know.

Here is an LED and an older bulb comparison. I will get some night shots this evening.

That looks great and I have a few that are burnt out. Could you please send me the sellers name.

Thank you.

Stole the turboclunker from my daughter and went up for some Thursday tracks at Mary Jane. First 3-5 runs were gold, then the rocks and stumps started popping through the snow. Need a couple more good dumps.

I'm still really getting a kick out of the turbo on I-70 :hillbilly:

Yeah I think the turbo guys are really liking the colder weather, I helped a guy in AUS layout his setup after yanking out his TRD supercharger and he just posted this on the 1FZ-FE Turbo FB page --

"Evan Jorgensen So after a week or so of driving I am absolutely loving this thing! So responsive, plenty of punch and nice and quite compared to the supercharger. I've got a small list of things to do, mainly stronger waste gate actuator and water/meth injection followed by retune. Whilst they are retuning it I'll have my wideband AFR wired in to the haltech to run closed loop and LTFT.
It seems I have an air leak somewhere causing a slightly high idle. Maybe when I removed the IAC from the supercharger and reinstalled it in the throttle manifold I didn't seal it well enough.
More exploration required.
Perfect turbo, definitely not too small"

@LS1FJ40 How much was that E-locker harness?

It's been a few months since I bought it and can't remember. I ordered it from Onur. @beno He knew exactly what I needed and got it to me right away.

My Christmas present arrived today. Freshly minted too! The quality surpassed what I was expecting btw.

The 3.5 miles from Loon lake to Spider lake is not too bad but who knows what the snow and ice will like when you are here.
you could also do a Wentworth Springs-Loon Lake loop.

oh, yes! more expanse references.

Nice! You're the first person who got that reference without me explaining it.

....and the trip was a little rough going in parts but successful in the end. ;)

This is true and that route avoids the slabs that can be treacherous in winter. My rig is in pieces right now, but the real deal breaker is that I have work during the days our brother from Iowa will be here.

Well, a little before the weekend but it looks like I'll be doing the rear heater bypass Saturday. Appears to be coolant leaking from above the transmission so I'm guessing this is the issue. Don't notice any external head leaks at #6. I've done two PHHs so hopefully this fix won't be too bad. Damn, I really liked that rear heater.

Oh, there is but we're taking the 'ole girl on a 2,500-mile road trip next week so I'm just going to bypass it. Glad it happened THIS week!
