Soooo ugly. Like the specs, hate the design.
I've put almost 5 years and 100k miles on my model 3 DD and it is far and away the most reliable, trouble-free vehicle I have ever owned. I've bought tires and a 12v battery ($60, install it...
Tried out the new (to us) camping rig over the holiday. En route:
It's warmer if you go south, right? We still found a little bit of snow.
Turns out that in AZ they have a great big hole in the ground; we camped there and hiked down into...
What specs are you curious about? It's a '96 LHD 1HD-FT (24 valve), Manual Trans, Triple-Locked, White, High Miles, but looks really, really good. I don't think it's ever been off road.
I got mine from Cruiser Outfitters. It's not listed on the site anywhere, I just called and asked if they had something that would work for me, and this is what they sent.
Installed OME HD coil springs and gained an insane 3" of lift. (Stocks were beyond shot).
Ride and handling improved 10 fold.
Stitch welded my coastal off road bumper kit. Couldnt recommend this company enough the fit and finish was...
50 sets in the production queue with trays. I'm making 10 extra trays for the guys that just bought the tools a couple months back.
Also these will be case hardened as well compared to plain as previous runs were.

Happy Thanksgiving! I haven't posted for a while, but my '11 LX is still kicking ass and taking names at 128K miles. This week I replaced plugs (needed them) and replaced brake pads for the second time (didn't need them) and rotors for the...
Well I finally decided to tackle rust repair. This will be my first attempt at body work. First patch turned out better then expected and I think high fill primer is all that is needed. I was lucky the inner fender is in good shape. Next is the...
I wasn't sure where to ask this question, so I'll just throw it up here:
If I disconnect the front shocks to remove the coilovers and add a spacer, how much AHC juice can I expect to lose? Will I have to bleed the whole system, or can I just...
I have never seen levelers like that before--just the lego kind. I had to look through the pictures to see how you would even get a tire up on top of one of those. Pretty clever!
Those go treads look cool too. Might consider a set for my...
It is my understanding that to do the typical "Tundra swap" you just need upper and lower control arms and CV axles from a Tundra. You can still use springs/shocks that were intended for the 200. So if your OME suspension is doing the job, you...
If the mods are actually what you're looking for, then buying the built one seems like a good "easy button" choice. My biggest qualm with buying a built rig is that the parts on it are likely not what I personally would have chosen (that black...
3rd row seat delete. Those f*kers are heavy! I layered some closed-cell foam into the openings left by the mounting points to level everything up. Also looks like a previous owner had the seats removed at some point and duct-taped over the...
