Thought about that, but it isn’t one of the regular mounting holes, it’s in between them. And then the fact that it’s a T-nut and not a regular ol’ hex nut have me suspicious. Not everyone has T-nuts lying around.I don't know, somebody might have broke a bolt and installed that instead of the right way.
Whatever the case is, if you're not using it, get rid of it. It's an ugly bastard at best.Thought about that, but it isn’t one of the regular mounting holes, it’s in between them. I'm not sure what it's for but it's exactly the same captive nut (I assume) as the other 6 OEM holes so it definitely came that way from the factory. I can unbox my OEM radiator and see if there's something there but the parts diagram is showing 3 bolts on each side only. That one!
Doesn’t quite look like a T-nut, but it doesn’t belong there anyways.

I stand corrected!Okay; apologies for any confusion. That (above photo) is the driver's side of the radiator but where the fan shroud connects. Fan shroud has 3 bolts on each side and that matching cutout on the driver's side. The OEM radiator mounting flange has 4, yes 4, bolt holes on the driver's side and 3 on the passenger side.
Apologies for the terrible photo but there is a hole in the middle of that side under all the tape.

Nice!Took some PTO time this week to move this project along.
Yes. One day during the weekend isn’t cutting it. Really feeling the need to get this thing fired up and moving under its own power. I’m a couple years behind schedule according to some comments I’ve made.Nice!
I’m in the same boat, no real progress without a break from daily life.
You know where my comments got me, $5,000 and one year to build it.I’m a couple years behind schedule according to some comments I’ve made.![]()
