I ran the rear axle to the fuel door compartment, the other 3, which were two, went to the inner fender behind the fake vent cover.
I like the idea of putting it in that fender void, out of sight 👍🏼

Hear you go!

Like everything but the logo🤣

you dont even have to make your own, they are readily available aluminium manifolds for air compressor distribution,

i used one like this, 10 whole dollars on Amazon even at todays extortionary proffit margins

I already ordered that exact same one earlier 👍🏼😎
I also have an unending supply of these breathers👇🏼

You could use one of these instead of a regular fuel filter for the rear cargo area.

Might use something like that for the fuel venting. Won’t be using a charcoal canister. Previously, I’d installed an inline fuel filter in place of the one-way valve, then routed a hose to the rear side reflector/vent. Worked out good. Will be visiting that aspect of the build shortly.

once again the air compressor stuff came to my rescue, look at Speedaire filters, back when i did my setup they had little foam filters with 3/8ths threads on them, screwed right into my manifold.

having said that, those breathers you have an unending supply of are excellent, all metal and what 1/4" or 3/8" threads?, it wont get any better than that.

edit, looks like Speedaire still makes it

I think if you park outside you can use almost anything. If it's in the garage then that's another story and you would likely have to replace the one I referenced fairly often if you didn't want a fuel smell in the garage. Of course you could always do an off-line purge and rotate a couple of them.

What a difference a week makes!
Finished the paint work on the doghouse
Pre-lubed the 5.3 with this pressure oil transfer tank I bought close to a year ago.
Reinstalled the lower valve covers, coils, wires, and a majority of the engine bay components.
Was on a roll so I also mocked up the fenders to see how all that was going to turn out. The lower fenders will possibly need to be lengthened and then I need to fabricate a stabilizer bracket that hooks to the tub to keep the fenders from flapping in the wind going down the road. When that’s finished, considering sending a bunch of the pieces off to the sandblaster for the same treatment as the doghouse.
Anyways, a handful of things to complete before firing up the engine. Getting close.

Don’t think I ever posted these pics. Converted the valve cover breather ports to NPT threads so that I could install fittings into them and run AN fitting equipped hoses to a Moroso canister.
Kinda pissed me off at first to have to spend another unplanned $500 to do this project, but it ends up being a pretty nice feature.
