Anyway, I always wanted an FJ60. In 2015, I had some cash burning a hole in my pocket and I decided to buy one. I spent several months looking for the right one. I found this one in San Antonio, purchased it, and shipped it (I lived in Alabama at the time). Very soon after, I moved to Houston - this was my daily commuter. This Land Cruiser started its life in California and moved to Texas to its second owner. I am the third owner and now, sad to see it go. Unfortunately, I am moving, don't want to take it with me, and would like to pass on the dream of owning this great vehicle...

Had a guy to back out on the sale. Other guy doesn't have enough time to make it here before I leave. Replaced valve body. Sent torque converter to El Paso to rebuilt. Reinstalled transmission and motor spun thrust bearings. Body is good. No rust. Worse is in the picture. Open to offers. Also am not beyond buying another engine and replacing this one. Hi. I have a 1990 fj 62 Land Cruiser for sale or trade. The interior is immaculate with zero stains on head liner, carpets etc. The front seats are out of a bmw/leather. The rear seat is cloth/original in excellent shape as well (was actually going to get it covered to match fronts)The dash is perfect with zero cracks. The rear wheel well covers are there, also in great shape. I would give the interior 9/10. Mechanically it’s running really strong. It does have small leak in the front and possibly another in the rear. Easy fixes just haven’t got around to them cause they’re not bad. It has a new power steering pump and transfer case. This is California born fj60 that went on vacation in Florida for about 7 years and then returned to California and got parked for about 8 years. The second owner purchased in 99 in California moved to Florida and returned in 2008. Driven til about 2012 and then parked. It is too bad it went to Florida, it would have been a California rust free rig. So it has typical 60 rust. It had a roof rack so the mounting areas suffered ( right rear the worst). 1985 FJ60, I do not know the original owner, but it was my father-in-law’s for nearly 20 years until I bought it in 2010. During that time, it mainly sat in a garage at my in-law’s vacation home near Kalispell, MT and I generally use it for hunting, camping and mountain bike trips so it has very low mileage compared to many FJ60s.
Most of the work on the truck has been maintenance and repairs including a starter, headlights and wiring harness, Super Bright LED in turn signals and interior lighting, fuel pump, muffler and radiator but no major upgrades e.g., Old Man EMU kit.
