If this route across Blue Mesa Reservoir from East to West is not repaired by SAS time there are plenty of alternate routes. Including the I-70, Wolfcreek Pass to either Durango and North or up and over Stoney Pass from Creed to Silverton.
I'm...
FYI... baton will be getting passed on to @Mesa Woman and @mesa man in less than two weeks... April 26/27. We are meeting up in the Escudilla Wilderness for a brief camp, some hiking, and of course a handoff of the briefcase/baton.
Anyone else...
Diesel guys, you just pound on everything!!! hahaha. Good thing I didn't call you Sunday. I went up old stage tested the new locker . I'm ready for SAS if i don't break it again
@CenTXFJ60 This is really inspiring man. One day I might approach some body work, but frankly it scares me. Seeing these photos makes it feel more withing reach. Mason's truck is gonna look great when it's done too. I've got some photos of it...
I’m guessing @landsnoozer is never going to make a build thread so I’ll continue to park the updates here :). Shot the roof/hood today. Lots of dust bunnies and an ok spray job. 4 coats of clear so we have room to address them after the paint...
I just saw they are opening some dinosaur trackways near Ouray. That might be cool to check out.

Remove the slave and place the fork so the bearing is not in contact , then make a new mounting braket for the slave to fit this fork position , at the same time make the braket offset so the push rod is more inline
I usually deal with sbc/4 speeds. You 1st need to set pedal height, then pedal freeplay(when the slave starts moving) and finally adjust the rod. Make sure the piston is fully seated in the slave.
How am I just now finding out about the trails-events and expeditions section of the forum. All of the sudden a whole new world is open up to me. It is like I can finally see. Looking forward to experiencing SAS vicariously through each of you.
