Update: FJ62 did not meet reserve. I am keeping it and currently working on transmission rebuild, and may ultimately get into the small amount of rust repair and possible carpet and stereo upgrades. Other than that, not sure what else to do to this sweet rig... perhaps drive it around! If interested in checking it out, just shoot me a note. I'm in West Los Angeles. Thanks

That rust is pretty bad. At 34k I would have easily let it sell personally in my opinion. Likely the whole roof is contaminated with rust and will have to be removed to address properly.

Fake news white stripe. That's like me saying I see in a picture your left front tire is a bit worn... I'll bet the truck runs sideways and must have been in a huge accident. You've probably got a bent frame. How could you possibly make a comment like that having never met the truck?
The rust isn't "pretty bad". I have two bids (each of them for exactly $3000) to fix the rust, including from Corsetti Cruisers. Pretty bad, and contaminated probably wouldn't be covered by $3000. Maybe $10-15K. Now that would be pretty bad. If I had to guess, the percentage of area affected by surface rust is less than a fraction of one percent of the entire surface area of the truck.
