1981 FJ60 Runs perfect, Needs rear springs.

1981 FJ60 needs to go. Ithaca NY

White with pin striping.

ENGINE Stock 2F has 30K on it, runs like a dream. Pulls hard and accelerates like new. JIM C carb newly installed. New OEM fuel pump and all vac hoses and anything that was iffy from engine storage has been replaced with new OEM. Receipts.

Comes with uninstalled Alpine headunit. Already wired.

BODY has 201K on it.
Frame is near perfect, almost no surface rust.
Body has some suface rust and rear quarter rust but nothing horrible.
Shallow dent on DS door.
New drive shafts.
New front brakes
rebuilt tranny,transfer,knuckles,diffs.
Interior clean
small typical DS seat vinyl tear
headliner not perfect but not bad.

Needs: Should have rear springs replaced.

I bought this rig for $3900 from a board member with engine and drivetrain work already done. Since I have owned her she has had full tune-up, Jimc Carb, fuel pump, vac hoses, boost guage, various engine components and brakes. That adds up to some $$ but not too much in on her to make her run perfectly.

We're more interested in selling the truck, but my wife and I are open minded individuals. Whatcha got? Anything diesel?

We are, in the next week or two, purchasing a new OME Dakkar heavy kit from Kurt for the rig that can be included in the sale. I figure, let's fix the rear spring and the rest of the suspension could use the upgrade.

Once I get the lift under the truck, (when it is warm enough to work on the truck,) it is defnitely going with the truck and the price will go up accordingly.

I did not forget about the pics but we just got more snow


I am installing the Alpine unit during my erratic spare free time. It sounds good and is completely wired now. Brackets are ground down and bent and ready for the unit. I just need to figure out how to fill the extra 1/8 inch around the unit and the dash slot.
