Tan color, Aussie locker in the rear, OME heavies all around. New England truck with the level of rust it envolves, I need it gone now. If you got $1000 and a way to tow it , it is all yours. Why tow? It is not inspected for road use in the state of Massachustetts, where the truck is right now. A jump start will get it started. Interiors are nice, yet not perfect for a truck this used. I am getting married soon and have to let go of my pride and joy. It is an 87 fj60 with 256000 miles on it. This truck runs great and has never left me stranded, everything works. The body is in good condition, with good paint (dark blue) and no rust. It has never been up north or to the beach. I am the third owner and have the documentation and records back to when it was brand new including a copy of the window sticker. I just got the call I've been dreading. My mechanic tells me the latest problem (steering) on my trusty land cruiser will cost a couple grand to fix. It's a 1987 with about 180K miles. Life on the NC coast has not been good to my truck as she has some bad rust issues. I've owned it for about 15 years and hate to see it go, but I'm not a mechanic and don't want to invest any more money in the truck due to the rust issues. I feel like a vet just told me that I need to put my dog down. The engine runs well (aside from the steering issues) and the interior is in good shape. I am selling our 1984 FJ60 Land Cruiser. It is mostly original, with a mild lift and brand new 31x10.50's. It has the original running gear, 2F engine, 4 speed tranny etc. The vehicle has 150,000 miles on it. We have owned it for the last 15 years or so. It has a new (not rebuilt) water pump, a metal roof rack, chrome wagon spoke wheels, the original wheels go with it too. color is brown, interior is brown/tan. Everything works, AC blows cold. I really hate sellin my 1st car but college is killing me. Im selling my 1985 toyota landcruiser fj60. It has has a shackle reversal 4" lift (habu rear, safari up front). I never welded in the reversal peices but it has been greased well and taken care of.The motor is a semi-built 2F. It has a weber 38DGAS and a man-a-fre 6-1 header. It was rebuilt right before i bought it so im guessing its about 40,000 miles deep and runs well. Right now there is a little oil leak but it is still very much drivable. There is also a small leak in the power steering but i replaced the pump about a year ago. The body is good shape. I did all of the repairs my self. Here is what I am looking for: An '85-'90 60-series, original paint, RUST FREE. Mileage does not matter. Tires and wheels don't matter. It should (preferrably) have a blown motor/thrown rod, etc. or bad transmission (or both). No motor or transmission is OK too, but I won't be able to resell what is still salvagable, so price will be less. Paint condition doesn't matter. A/C can be screwed too. Electrical system should be in good condition. Minor dents OK. No/broken glass, OK.I am on the fence about restoring my rig or yanking the powertrain (2H + brand new 5-speed) and putting in a rust-free vehicle, but if one is out there and right for the project, the decision will be much easier.... Sad day mudders...:frown: I am sad to say that I am selling my 84' FJ60. I have looked for her for quite a while and when I finally got her, I didn't have enough time to dedicate to her needs. With my priorities ever changing, I have to let her finally go.... She's a 1984 FJ60 completely stock. She has a little bruise up front, above the bumper on the left headlight. Rare Diesel Fj60 In The Us For Sale

HEY I am selling my FJ60 beacuse its just too much truck for me. Its an awesome rig - 5-speed B3 Engine 4 cylinder in great shape with about 200,000 miles on it. The mechanic i took it to have it looked over at drooled over the rig and wanted to know if I could set it aside a year so he could save up the cash to but it himself. That said - its in great shape it has the typical rusting around the wheel wells and hitch and the e-brake needs to be replaced.
