I really hate sellin my 1st car but college is killing me. Im selling my 1985 toyota landcruiser fj60. It has has a shackle reversal 4" lift (habu rear, safari up front). I never welded in the reversal peices but it has been greased well and taken care of.The motor is a semi-built 2F. It has a weber 38DGAS and a man-a-fre 6-1 header. It was rebuilt right before i bought it so im guessing its about 40,000 miles deep and runs well. Right now there is a little oil leak but it is still very much drivable. There is also a small leak in the power steering but i replaced the pump about a year ago. The body is good shape. I did all of the repairs my self. There are the usuall scratches but the previous owner freshly painted her with "freeborn red" i believe its called. A quality job. I did have to tackle some rust issues on the rear drivers side 1/4 panel and drivers side rocker but as you can see it looks like new. Along the main contour line i marked off and rhino lined everything below it including up in the wheel wells. Gives the car a very exotic unique look. The roof is dented (not sharp points but long bows)but not noticeable. The car looks and runs very good but there are a few problems. One there is a walk in the suspension because it hasnt been aligned i beleive. Its not terrible. Ive driven it for awhile and lived with it. All the problem is between 30-35mph. Like i said there is a oil and power steering leak. There is also some frame rust that never concerned me much but it is there. Those are the biggest problems. I have a new car thats gettin me to school and back and it breaks my heart to get rid of my 1st real project. If you are willing to pay the full 4000 im willing to part with my roof rack, 33x12.5s w/ wheels, 6 disk changer with kickers up front, hellas, all the little toys, and my supra seats that i dropped into her. I have spare bumpers, seats and other parts that i guess i wont need anymore. This really is is a great rig and was a blast to drive but parents and school debts dont go well when there is a car sitting in the yard. I am kinda flexible with price just talk to me.

If you need to get in touch with me contact me through Turkeyman5001@aol.com or call 301-471-2063. Im in Frederick, Maryland. Im happy to answer any questions. because of the shackle reverssal however im not sure it will passs MD inspection. I have the stocj brackets i think. It passed emmisions with a "quick pass" however.

Please help me out here. What does "BUILT" mean?

You have a 4" lift and Hella Lights. What else? Lockers? Doubler Transfer Case? Longfields? On Board Air?

When was the front end gone through? Axle seals ect.

How do you pass emmissions with a 6 to 1 header.

He's not in Kalifornia, that's how.

Most companies make 49 state legal headers. They don't bother with CA, because its too damn expensive to get the CARB certification.

Good point on the header!

You can get the same header in California but it must be accomplanied by a sticker. Without the sticker it will not pass the visual.

Correct. Too bad it costs companies a boat load of money to simply have a header approved for a sticker. So much so that most don't bother dealing with CA's stupid cert rules. They get plenty of business from the rest of the country.

It's just a matter of filling out some paperwork and proving the vehicle still meets the emmission #'s. That means checking the vehicle and then installing the header and rechecking the vehicle with it never leaving the shop. This is not a "Boat Load" of money.

Most companies don't do this since they can sell enough product outside of CA.
