I've got a 84 FJ60 with 202K on it for sale. It's located in Mansfield Texas. I installed a rebuilt Austrailian 5sp and transfer case about 3 years ago. (Has about 30K on it since installation) It also has a 1995 Chevy 5.7L with TBI. Motor was installed at about 110K. I've put a new radiator and replaced the condensor, after hitting a Deer in Tennessee. The hood was relaced as well and is a little different color than the body. I need some parts for my FJ60 and I'm looking to flip the 62 or part it out to finance them.
It's an 89 with about 200k+ miles, Ive driven it and it drives fine but only drove about a 2 miles.
It is all stock and has had some body repairs to the driver side at some point and and overall crappy paint job (Black).
It has no rust on the undercarrige my belief from what was in the glove box is that it is an all Ca. car.
The only things I know are wrong with it is as follows.
Missing driver fender vent
Hood hinge or spring is causeing hood to bind at windshield.
Missing one main window rocker switch for pass window.

I was looking at this truck in an earlier auction about three weeks ago until I found out it suffers from terminal frame rot and a jury-rigged rear shock tube.
Was listed out of New Jersey, and the seller seemed legit; I just didn't want to take on the frame replacement job.
It sold on 11 Aug for $3925 (ended early by the seller).
Now it shows up in Lexington KY with the same photos (including the NJ license plate), and the seller cut and pasted the item description from the last sale (talking about all the work "he" did on it...).
Bidding is up to $4,150 (9 bids) with just over 1 day left.
Don't know if this is a scam listing or of the guy who bought it wants to unload a POS...either way, caveat emptor.

I recently listed this vehicle but didn't describe it to well and also I changed the price.
This vehicle is pretty clean and is in overall good mechanical condition with 257000 miles. The only things that are wrong is that the throw out bearing whines slightly and the linkage on the 4x4 needs to be adjusted (it goes into 4x4 and that works perfect, but sometimes you have to rock it to get it out of 4x4). It could also use some new tires eventually.

Im selling my '86 fj60 that I have owned for the last 6 years. It has 240xxx miles, good brakes and clutch, new rear 3rd member and drive shaft, newer starter, carb, and cargo carpet. The body has lots of dents and dings from offroad excursions, but no rust. The 2f runs good but burns some oil between changes. Original 2F and 4-speed with 155k miles.
The good:
Motor runs very good and is very solid, leaks very little oil.
Recently had about 1800 put into all new brakes, manifold gaskets, and some new emissions bits and pieces.
New alternator.
All new plugs, wires, cap, rotor.
All rockers and wheel wells are spotless, at most there is a little surface rust in some spots.
The Bad:
There is a dent in the passenger side door which could probably be popped out.
Drivers side door has one rough spot.
tailgate is rusted and could use replacement.

Ok here it is I have to part ways with my most loved Fj60 with a 168,000 miles. I have had it for just about one year but starting a new job in the portland area forces the sale for a commuter car. 4 speed manual, 4wd, alarm with keyless entry, aftermarket CD player with front and rear speakers. This has been an awesome rig. runs like a CHAMP. Manual locking hubs, trailer hitch, strong engine, oil changes every 3,000 miles, also comes with studded tires on factory wheels, tinted windows from the passengers back. Very nice driver: the suspension made no unexpected noises, in fact it shocked me at how quiet and comfortable it was to drive, very car like.

2 years a go i rolled my 84 fj60 and have had it in storage since. I have been using it for parts and i just couldnt seem to let go of it.
the body is toast and the interior has been stripped out.

drive shafts
frame
stock axle ( front axle is missing inner axle and birfield)
BDS 2.5" suspinsion with shocks and greasable pins and shackles (purchased for $700-2000miles on it)
4 33x10.5 BFG all terrains ($600 at Discount Tire - 2000miles on them)
