This is a 1984 I6 4-speed FJ60 in near perfect condition. It's mostly stock with a few upgrades and recent maintenance repairs. I'm the 3rd owner in its pampered life. It has no rust and no body damage as it has always been garaged or under a car cover. There are no leaks to speak of. It' runs beautifully and is clean inside and out.

I have decided to sell my dear friend, my 1983 BJ60. I bought it in Colorado in 1998 as a FJ60 but last year I swapped the 2F for a 3B diesel/5spd. This is a great running truck and i have driven it all over Canada and the U.S. It was previously titled in the U.S. so it will be an easy truck to get back over the border and titled once again. For the past nine years it has probably sat in a garage almost every winter and many months without driving it due to my travels or other vehicles to drive.

DISCLAIMER: Title says "flood damage", though it doesn't show up on Carfax. Knowing this going into my original purchase of the vehicle (approx 3 years ago), I did some rather selective dissassembly/inspection. I removed the ECU and took the board out to look for signs of corrosion; none. I also did some extensive searching of the interior for any evidence of a previous flood; none. I think this vehicle became sombodys insurance scapegoat at one time.

My brother in law is selling his FJ62. Wondering your opinions on the price. The miles are high, but the body and extras look pretty good. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't go for that on this board, but judging from prices on ebay, autotrader and other listings, it seems this might sell for close to that. Just trying to help him get a better gauge on what is a realistic asking price.
Toyota Land Cruiser 89 FJ62
A move overseas is forcing me to sell my BJ60. The truck is currently in Monterey, California, with a legitimate California title. I imported the vehicle from Vancouver Canada in June of 2006 and had no trouble with the paperwork. There were two previous owners. I performed a lot of work on this vehicle. I have all the paper work to verify the repairs. The repairs include:
1) new clutch

3) rebuilt injectors
4) rebuilt alternator and oil pump

UPDATE: This 83' has 122k original miles and has typical rust behind the rear wheels. the rain gutters,door jambs, door pillars, front fenders,tail gate,lift gate etc.. are all 100% rust free. It is very straight. The interior is nice, no cracks in the dash or damaged door panels, decent carpet and headliner. NEW alpine system if it matters, typical tear in the side bolster if drivers seat. It will be sold with stock front bumper but you can have the sweet lights LOL!
