1984 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 60 For Sale

Introduction: I'm selling my 1984 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60. I'm selling the truck because I purchased a UZJ100 to accommodate my growing family. I use the truck primarily to get back and forth to my office which is about 3 miles from my home. I've taken the truck on a few camping trips with my kids but I don't wheel the truck. When I purchased the truck in 2004 is was completely stock. I'm complimented on the truck constantly - you don't see many in this kind of condition. I've included quite a bit of detail regarding the truck below as well as extensive photo documentation. I'm looking for a good home for this truck. The MY FJ license plates are included.

Price: $8,500

Thanks for the compliments BostonFJ60 and BrettinSanAntonio. It's is a really nice 60 and part of me hopes it just doesn't move ; ) The market for trucks like this is a bit soft right now because of high gas prices but classics like this do a pretty good job of holding their value and prices (values) will rebound eventually. The H55F 5-speed makes it a highway capable truck and the low 1st gear is nice too. Additionally, the brand new 33" BFG AT's improved the ride a lot.

The carburetor was rebuilt professionally by Jim C.

My compliments to you on your ride. I'd love to drive it to compare with mine.
Good luck with the sale. I believe it's worth every penny of what you're asking!

Thanks for the compliments hank14 - appreciate it. -- PNWFJ

Original 4-speed included w/ sale - on the off-chance buyer prefers a 4-speed over the NEW H55F 5-speed ; )

Thanks for the compliments DenverCruiser and twstrchasr- appreciate it.

DenverCruiser - check back in a few months.

twstrchasr - I purchased the wheels (15x8) at my local Les Schwab - there's a 5th wheel and another 33" BFG A/T under the truck. I like the look. If you're really interested in them I can dig up specifics on the wheel - they fit without spacers. PM me if you want to know more - let's try to avoid turning this into another wheel thread ;)

SOLD to ProwlerDriver. ProwlerDriver picked the truck up yesterday and although I'm sad to see the truck go I'm happy it ended up in his hands. A Navy Prowler pilot - who could ask for a better buyer. Have fun with it Derek - looking forward to hearing about the 300+ mile drive from Oregon up to Washington. Take care of her.

P.S. - looking forward to sharing a few more IPAs in the future.

Glad it went to a good home. What a nice FJ60.

:frown:

I knew there was no way it would last! Congrats to you both.

DenverCruiser,

Did you see my ad? When is your 30th? I'm not as far away from you as Oregon. And this is a clean slate you can build however you want.
