I'm selling my 89 FJ62. It a good truck has very clean interior and runs great. It does need body work as it is rusted in the rain gutter, the pillars area along the windshield, the doors and the front fenders. The odometer broke and was replaced with a used one the new one reads 102K. I pull a car fax on all my cars and the car fax report says about 178K I estimate she has about 200K now. It is my daily driver and a very dependable vehicle. It idles a bit rough due to some type of vacuum leak. The truck at a new set of BFG all terrains with at least 80% to 90% of tread on them. Well, after one last camping trip, the tranny on my '88 FJ62 died last Sunday. I've decided to part with it, as it needs to belong to somebody with more passion and skill (and time and tools) than I have. It is bone stock, Metallic Grey and very clean. I bought it in (and drove it back from) South Carolina in 2005 where it had spent most of its life. It has nearly 200k miles on it but the rust is only just beginning to appear in the usual areas. It is currently in Rochester, MN at the Toyota dealer there. They can put a used tranny in for $3k, so I'm wanting to know if A: Anyone wants it as is or B: Anyone would be interested in it with the replaced tranny. Not mine, but I had checked it out, but never came up with the money to buy it. It doesn't run, but it looked to me that it was only a bad fuel pump. It ran fine when your poured a bit of fuel in the carb. It also is real solid for being in NY, very little rust. Just figure I'd pass it on....

I have an 84 fj60 that I began building and have lost my work space and dont see any time in the future to finish the truck. The truck doesnt currently run and would be a perfect canidate for an engine swap (my original plan) or replace the head gasket and drive it with the 2f. It has front seats from an escort that match the interior color pretty close. The truck has been sprung over and has all-pro hy-steer, needs pitman arm adressed. Looking to sell my FJ60 project. I bought the truck not running....PO had taken the carb off to have it rebuilt but never did. Carb is still sitting in the back. I have never heard this truck run so I will throw in a Chevy 350 core if you want it. Truck has the usuall rust in the rear fenders but other than that it is in pretty good shape. When I bought it was white and primer....the primer was showing some rust spots so I sanded it down and rolled on some black. Currently has no rear bumper but I am about 80% done making one. I've owned her for just about a year now, and I no longer have the time to enjoy her, or the money to own a pleasure vehicle. Odometer reads 185,646 and the speedo cable broke soon after I bought it. I would be surprised if I'd put 2000 miles on since then. Previous owner did some bondo rust repair around the wheel wells that is not perfect, but doesn't look too bad. That, the scratches on the paint and the only body rust are clear in the photos...

This is a 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 model. This vehicle was purchased as a project vehicle and has had a lot of money, over $3500, and time invested in it. I have too many other projects to work on now and must get rid of this one. I have used this truck as a daily driver for the last 2 years and would not hesitate to drive it cross country. All fluids and vitals have been changed except for transmission. The transmission shifts fine, but does need to warm up first. I will have to replace one of the transmission lines I broke last week before it can leave. The interior is mint except for a small tear in the driver seat. interior is clean, drivers seat is hammered (whos isnt) and the healiner has a few tears. frame is pretty much surface rust only great shape..

I'm putting my 1987 FJ60 up for sale. 190,000 miles showing on the speedo. It has 4spd, AC, front seats have been reupholstered and the back seat is original but in very good condition. Within the past 3 months I have replaced the left window regulator, had the front axle bearings and the axle/wiper seals replaced and the speedo cable. The paint seems fairly recent and I was told the engine was rebuilt or replaced (it runs very strong, no funny noises).The carpet trim for the rear gate is pretty well shot but it's there.The rest of the interior is in pretty good shape. A touch of rust on the rear chrome strip (just to the right of TOYOTA) but the rest of the vehicle is rust free. Asking...
