Gamiviti has been making products for the 'mud community and beyond since 2009... with a full suite of roof racks originally developed around 2012, designs we continue to tweak and innovate even today. A lot of this info is on the forum here in multiple places, some of it's spot on, a few misconceptions, some old info... I have been asked multiple times why don't you have a thread in the Vendor's section... so here goes.

Start with some key features true for all Gamiviti racks...
- steel. 1" OD round tubing, laser cut plates, light tabs, gussets, internally sleeved butt joints.
- not heavy. Most racks weigh about 55 pounds (Essential Expo, for example). some can weigh less (flat racks) and some can weigh more (added grid flooring, added sunroof insert, etc.)
- Low profile. Most of our racks have about a 1" gap between the cross bars and the roof... some (60 series) are even lower. Also our racks are wider than most, and the only rack to offer our perimeter grab handle, aka drop down Expo bar. Which makes this rack a very inviting and useful upgrade you'll use daily.
- expensive to ship. No joke- it's a big welded rack that needs to be put inside a wooden crate, then shipped LTL. For some folks it's a one-time hit that's worth it to get the rack you want. For others it's an excuse to come to Denver, Colorado for free installation assistance, a few hit me up to have racks delivered to events. yes I do this for free, ih8shipping.

Racks we make...
-
every Toyota Land Cruiser. FJ/BJ40, 43, 45... 60/61/62, 70, 75, 80, 100, 200, and coming soon 250. that's model years 1963 or so through today, with few exceptions, if it says Land Cruiser on it we've likely made a rack for it.
- Lexus GX470, GX460, LX450, LX470, and LX570's through 2015. GX550 coming soon.
- 3rd, 4th, and 5th gen 4Runners. also Tacoma, Tundra, 1st gen Sequoia, Rav4, even Sienna. oh and civilian spec Mega Cruisers.
and we've done others also (Montero, Delica..) always open to a new project, helps if you're local.

Racks we stock...
- Essential Expo racks...which is the term I created for the "all the features you need" configuration. This configuration was based on what became the most common custom rack, so we standardized it to reduce lead times. All the other customizations are available, just not made ahead of time.

On the 100 series this is a full flat rack, tapered Expo++ bar, sunroof opening, side gussets, 4 plates/mounting towers per side, powder coated, snap-on wind fairing, sized specifically for the 100 series Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470.

On the 200 series it's also a full flat rack, tapered Expo++ bar, sunroof opening, side gussets, 4 plates/mounting towers per side, powder coated, snap-on wind fairing, sized specifically for the 200 series Land Cruiser and Lexus LX570. Note if you have a later model 570 (2016+) this isn't an easy bolt-up, as your roof rails are different.

GX460 Essential Expo racks are also full length flat racks, tapered Expo++ bar, side gussets, light tabs, 3 plates and mounting towers per side, powder coated, snap-on wind fairing.

The 60 series Essential Expo rack is a little different, as it has a short Expo Up bar in front, tapered back for a snap-on fairing, sitting on top of a full length flat rack with 4 plates, 4 rain gutter towers, light tabs in back.

here's a video that explains most of the key features of the Essential Expo rack for the 100, 200, GX, 4runner, etc.

BIG fan of this as someone who love low profile mounting options. Planning to order from you all for my flatrack + RTT with one question: Would you suggest a set of 6 to mount flat rack & fill all holes as well as is the bracket available for multi directional mounting? (aka length & width options for different needs)?

thanks! and yes 6 towers definitely better than 4.. . most full racks these days are getting 8. Not sure what you are asking with multi directional... but feel free to shoot me a PM or email if you want to dive into something specific.

That is super slick. I’m curious how much wind noise they make when loaded and unloaded. I could imagine those whistling and or chattering at highway speed.

Also, I’m not sure how practical (or aesthetic) it would be, but any plan to make longer ones? You’d could run skis or a snowboard on them and have pretty easy access. As I really overthink this - if those could reliably hinge, you could run them over the back doors and then hinge them horizontal with roof rack when door access is needed, if that makes sense.

I’ll stop with my ideas now, because if I don’t, I’ll end up with enough attachment points that it’ll look like one of the rigs in India loaded twice as wide and high as the vehicle hauling it!

All that said, it looks great as it is, and I love what you’re doing!

Yup. definitely a little wind noise, and I seem to notice it a bit more with the window open, and without anything attached to it (just the plate).

Also yes, you can use the same brackets to support our Multi Plate.. it wasn't the intention here, but it's possible to make it work. Though anything longer than a pair of traction boards are going to hit the back door. here's a pic:
