This FJ has not been used much in the last 6 years so I guess its time to get rid of it . It has about 289'000 mi. on it . The windshield was replaced about 500 mi. ago,the brake master cylinder was replaced and the booster was rebuilt.the engine is the original 6cylinder with about 130,000 mi.on it. It also has a newer fuel pump. There is the usual rust under the rear doors and some on the rt. rear fender. The front seats need new upholstery.It is located in Pueblo West, Colorado, I'm asking 3800 OBO. I have more pics that I could e-mail

Helping a friend try and sell this truck. Its a 66 fj 40 with a 283chevy motor. Original toyota 3spd and tcase. Body is in very good shape no rust. Interior is clean. Underside is clean. Stock height not lifted. Running 31's on black powdercoated rims. He's asking $7500 obo. Truck is located in Powells Point NC.

1972 FJ40 All Original Truck in good shape
Helping a friend sell this truck. It's a 72 fj40 that is all original. Completely stock nothing has been modified. 3 spd trans with floor shift transfer case. Body is in good shape. Interior is in good shape with a sprayed in bed liner on the floor. Underside is in good shape also. Has original hardtop. He's asking $8900 obo. Truck is located in powells point nc.

I could only find one small rust bubble under the hood paint. No other hidden rust that I could see. The thing looks brand new! My FJ was purchased in Bogota Colombia and fully restored in June 2005. Nearly flawless.....! Always 100% Garage kept, only driven in snow once...which was fun..
I have all records of all work and complete listing of all parts replaced......too many to list. Non original changes that were made were as follows: Power steering, bucket seats, roll bar (Attached to frame not chassis), Brush guard with lights.

I have a 1972 FJ40 for sale. It has 101739 miles on it. I started this project several years ago with the intention of building a very nice cruiser as this truck is in such good condition to begin with. The F engine runs strong without any smoke. I have installed a 76 four speed trans with new clutch setup,surfaced the flywheel, new rear seal and front trans seal. I have rebuilt the rear wheel cylinders, new shoes, new axle seals and pinion seal. At this point, my son wanted the truck to do a complete restore..........well, two babies later.............the 1972 has troop seats, rear heater, spare tire carrier, air cleaner housing, hard top and a box full of new OEM lights, emblems, knobs, shifter boot, etc.........also, comes a 1976...
Looking for a project FJ40 in Southeastern Idaho or Northern Utah. Prefer something with a solid frame, fair body, and running, but am open to options. What you got?
I have a 1973 FJ40 for sale and I am asking $550 dollars for it. The cruiser has a 2F engine in it from a later model FJ40 that runs good and the cruiser has a clear title. Cruisers currently has a soft top with soft doors that would probably clean up and could be used. As for the body and frame they are both rough and rusty. The body has been covered over with sheet metal. The running gear all works the 3 speed manual transmission, transfer case, front and rear axels all work. The interior has the original gauges but does not have the original seats. I have three or four pics of it if interested. I am loacated in Southwest VA near the KY border at Pound Virginia 24279.
