I have a 1972 FJ40 for sale. It has 101739 miles on it. I started this project several years ago with the intention of building a very nice cruiser as this truck is in such good condition to begin with. The F engine runs strong without any smoke. I have installed a 76 four speed trans with new clutch setup,surfaced the flywheel, new clutch slave cylinder ,new rear seal and front trans seal. I have rebuilt the rear wheel cylinders, new shoes, new axle seals . At this point, my son wanted the truck to do a complete restore..........well, two babies later.............the 1972 has troop seats, rear heater, spare tire carrier, air cleaner housing, hard top and a box full of new OEM lights, emblems, knobs, shifter boot, new shocks, new brake booster kit, pinion seals, good tires, spring pads for a SOA, ,etc.........also, comes a 1976 FJ40 donor with front disc brakes, was running 2F (smokes), three speed trans with transfer case, electronic ignition, hard top, heavy duty front and rear bumpers, wagon wheels, etc. To my knowledge, all major parts and 95% of the minor parts are there for a complete build.............the 72 is running and you can drive it for inspection.................both trucks are on site in Durham,NC
