Im looking to sell my 1975 Land Cruiser, it has about 79,000 orginal miles but motor was built not to long ago.The motor is a 2F with headers, after market holly carb and plastic gas tank. It also has spring over lift, disc brakes in the front, gm power steering four bolt box, 35' super swampers with spare, lockrite in the rear diff, hard top, abulance doors to match, custom snap top, everything orginal except axles and drive lines but have orginal drive lines, some rust on corners of tub, paint job is ok and front right fender is not perfect. This is a cosmetically challenged '74 40 that I did a frame-off
reconstruction of, less than a thousand miles ago. But those miles have stretched from 1998.
The original F block was replaced with a '78? 2F block rebuilt with new pistons, cam, oil pump. Crank and rods balanced.
The idea for this combo came from Mark Whatley on the Land Cruiser mailing list. 74F head on a 2F block bumps the compression to about 9.5 to 1.
Other goodies in the rebuild, header, custom exhaust, Weber carb, she pulls very hard for a 2F.
At the same time I put custom long springs from Alcan (5" lift), shackle reversal in the front. The front axle is 3" forward of stock, the rear axle is 5" aft of...
Want to buy a 40 in the Louisiana area or neighboring states... Excellent original condition to semi restored. Willing to spend around 13k... Please PM if anyone is intrested...

For Sale- 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40
All stock, right down to the hub caps. Odometer shows 3600 miles, actual mileage is unknown but judging by the condition of this Cruiser it is not much. Due to a family death I have acquired a few thousand dollars and want to put it towards something I've always wanted. Distance is not an issue if I find the perfect cruiser I'm willing to fly/drive anywhere to get it home to Michigan. I have 6k-7k to spend. Here is part of a 78 FJ40, I had bought it for a part rig, there is no motor, trans, or transfer, there is 4:10 front and rear, a clear arkansas title, the front fenders have rust behind the turn signals the mid floor channel on the underside is pretty rusty, there is a good hard top that goes with it, there is holes under the gas tank, and under the drivers seat area, so patches in the floor would be needed. I belive I still have a windshield frame for it, I will ask 500.00 for it but the price is flexable, just let me know and we can work from there. the hard top is not the correct 78 year model top, its for the 74 year range.
