I'm helping a friend (Bill) sell his Land Cruiser. Bill has a home in OR but lives out of the country. The truck is in Oregon and has 28500 original miles. I sold Bill the truck in 2003. It has great potential with some minimal paint work. You can see recent pictures here. Click on the Green 78. Price is $20K http://web.mac.com/gregoverton/iWeb/HLC/About%20Us.html
Really Nice 1977 Fj40
$12500 Firm I have a Cruiser that has mostly sat in the garage for the last three years. It is 85% Restored. Just haven't used it much since I have bought my F150. Don't like to hunt out of it since I got it painted. Considering selling it. I have a 6" thick file of receipts, paperwork, manuals and catalogues. It was appraised for insurance four years ago at $16500. It is not an off frame restoration. The Cruiser originated in California and has been in the Southeast for the last twenty years. I have had it since 1995. It has a solid floorboard with no rust holes that you see in a lot of older vehicles. I am located in Grovetown, GA, 150 mi east of Atlanta. I put my Cruiser in late last year and decided not to sell. Re-considering...
Okay, no pics yet, but here's a great description. Bodies on both are mostly toast, unless you need the cowl/firewall, which is good on both. One's a 77, have title, good frame, NO front axle, but has the springs, basically stripped. Maybe some wiring harness left, rear axle/springs intact, obviously, it's NOT rolling. No engine, drive line, front end, windshield frame. No 2 is an 80 FJ40, same body description, disc brake front axle (the most valuable piece of this whole mess), engine in unknown condition (I've never had it running), no driveline, has rear axle with no third member. It rolls, no steering column in either, no title for the 1980. First 650.00 gets em both but here's the deal. I need IMMEDIATE pickup. These are...

The tough part there is I don't really know what I would ask for anything seperately. Let me know if you have any questions. best, Abe
With sadness, I will be selling my 1975 FJ40. I am just floating this message to see if there is interest in it. Here is a website that goes over what it is about: http://mysite.verizon.net/vze2j8bn/cruiser-index.html no firm pricing is set yet - I have some thoughts - but will be entertaining serious offers. NOTE: Website needs updating -- i will get to that soon -- but my FJ has no clutch right now - I don't know what happened - but no clutch. Everything else seems OK and in functioning order -- albeit the whole vehicle needs more attention that I can give it right now. --sniff-- GEEZE---Sorry I didn't read the guidelines very well. SO: Located in Mclean VA (apprx 10 miles from Washington DC) SERIOUS ABOUT SALE...

I have for sale a 1978 FJ-40 with 74K miles. I want 8500.00 for it I would take 7500.00 no less. It runs fine, it has new tires, it is complete, as far as rust goes I will not say it is rust free but it is pretty darn close. There are no real issues with it, it is a serious Hoss and will go about any where you want to take it(but you know that) It has the original 2F, 4 speed, everything works, every light, dial, gage, everything! If it has a problem area I would say it is the brakes, and the condition of most of the seals. It sat for many years and many of them leak/weep. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere but wouldn't want to drive it to far. There is a Roof rack that goes with it, it has lights on it, and a complete...

FS: 1974 Fj40 - 130k miles - MD/VA/DC
For Sale: 1974 Toyota Landcruiser FJ-40 – two owner Colorado original, light blue with 130 K miles. Hardtop and doors, Ramsey winch, am radio, selling only because our ’76 fj40 “came in” and we cant keep both!. Background: I purchased the truck in Colorado about a year and a half ago from an individual who had acquired it from an estate sale. He owned it for less than a month when I purchased it so essentially I am the second owner. The car was located in Colorado for all of its life before I had it shipped to MD. This is a great example of a stock FJ-40. Everything is near original and there have been no modifications aside from a different bumper and winch. Originally Horizon Blue (light blue) – Previous owner painted...
