1973 LandCruiser FJ40 with 3 speed transmission and soft top. Cruiser has a late model 2F engine that runs good and all the drive train works. Cruiser also has a good title as well. The FJ40 would be a good candidate for a project or would also make a great parts vehicle. The body and frame are rough and rusty, the body has been covered over with sheet metal. The orginal seats and frames not there it has seats from another vehicle of some kind. The cruiser has all the orginal gauges and the orginal heater which works as well. I am located in Southwest VA and the vehicle has to be picked up.

Up for sale is a 1971 Fj40. The motor runs great and starts right up. The body is in pretty good shape but it has a few rust spots. Front and rear jump seats are in excellent condition. Original type f engine and 4 spd. Runs and drives good.
61885 on the clock. Stock front & jump seats (need covers).
Stock suspension with shackles in rear, 33x12.50 15 AT's on 15x10 white spokes. Almost everything works including heater. Horn needs a relay I think.
The body is rattle can white and is in good shape. There is some rust in and below the rear door. The frame and drive train are clean and dry with no rust. There is roll on bed liner on the floor.
The top is from another fj and is blue inside and needs new seals.

1972 fj40 mostly stock, stock front seats and long jump seats in the rear, has an F block in it right now with a burned piston and the head off missing some engine parts. Has pretty good body, but not purfect by any means, this cruiser could be a runner if someone were to drop a cheap f engine in it. Oh i almost forgot it has a saginaw box and pump.

I am selling this 1976 Toyota FJ40 which I purchased a while back which is a bit of a project. If you have been looking for a FJ40 to build this would be a real solid start. This FJ40 will currently run with the choke pulled out and needs a carb rebuild to run properly. This is a 76 so it has front disc brakes which do work by the way. It has a what I consider a real solid frame. The areas that can be usually rusted on these are real good. It is also solid around the rear end and spring hangers. The majority of the work on this vehicle will be the rear quarter panels and ambulance doors. Here is my take on it:
I think it is a parts rig. The frame does not appear cracked anywhere, the rear spring hangers are intact. The frame has minor delamination. The tub and cowel are shot and both have a lot of bondo all over them. The bezel, hood, and fenders appear ok. The windshield frame has visible pinholes. The hardtop does not fit well and was source from a 72. The motor has not turned over in a year, and the entire vehicle has sat in its present location for 5-8 years. The owner has seats, half doors, and a windshield frame...but I didn't inspect those...
