Moved the fuse panels into the glove box, installed aux fuse panel to the secondary battery, powers the winch, and aux power outlets and power inverter. Finished wiring up the dash, switches, and gauge cluster. Really, really liking the speedhut gauges!

Changed the solvent on my parts washer today too, that was nice!!!! cleans much better now!!!

Pulled the engine and started to actually rebuild it. It was "rebuilt" about 10k miles ago. I'm thinking they did a valve adjustment and that's at.

Tired starting it up, no go due to the weak battery and cold weather, plus it's very cold blooded and it's been sitting for awhile. We just closed of out first house!!! and am excited for the upgrades i have planed for it!!! Mhhhh, can any one say " another 1 Ton build" hahaha

Primed and painted my newly welded up Rock Tactics bumper / Deep South Fab stinger / MT nose guard along with the IPOR belly skid and Deep South Fab front and rear diff skids. Oh, and also the new 5.25" marine speakers mounted in some old KC light housings. Maybe I'll be able to hear some music when I am driving this thing now. :D

I was hating what the PO had done. Ugly. I much prefer a clean slate. Only 50 bucks later.

Wowza. Time for some factory wagon wheels too.

new OCD top!

I just received my OCD canvas soft top in the mail yesterday. I am excited for the weather to get a bit warmer so I can fit it on the OEM bows. The workmanship is fantastic - the bonus is that I also got a OCD bikini top to fit the OEM window channel.

My 74 40 is coming along......slowly. I can say that it still puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it!

As soon as I get the new top fitted, I am going to put my Kayline top and soft doors on Flea Market.

Teeth to the wind,

Took the LC down to the Rodeheaver Boy's Ranch near Palatka Florida for their first annual classic car, truck and motorcycle show. She placed in the top 30 so that was pretty cool considering the quality of the show. It's always fun to stick my daily driver in a lineup with all those custom and other vintage vehicles that never leave the garage except for a show. It's even more fun to watch the looks of bewilderment when I show the pictures of her up to the axles in mud!

Damm right I do! If I can get it to look like the space shuttle, I'm good

Sent using my Star Trek communicator thingy

LOL. Needs some ICON knobs to complete the look though.

Kayaker I love your truck. Also - my girlfriend had that "This is Not a Car" ad you sent over printed up and framed as a valentines day gift - looks great! Thanks for sending it along!
