What’s the part number on the new battery tray, mine is about done.
This is what I ordered and it fits a group size 27 battery. I believe there is another tray that is slightly smaller someone posted recently about but I’m not sure the part# for that one.

Boy, been a minute since I was in this thread. Can’t remember where I left off. But it’s still a turd. And makes me mad all the time! But it’s really close to trying to drive again. I had to turn the rear diff for a double cardan. That’s done. And I think I have my overheating figured out. Maybe.

I will be happy to sell you the tetanus infected steering wheel ....
Oh no, that’s ok, I have my own tetanus wheel. Appreciate the offer though! 🤣

Well done. Looks great. I was laughing at the aspirational 8k rpm and 120mph limits. Yeah… get it!

Replaced the driver door window regulator. The old aftermarket one lasted 20 years, but seems to have worn though the gears in an odd way. But the new one works as it should. Nice easy fix on a Saturday.

I’ve had this on my list for some time now. I ditched my old OME springs up front 2-3 years ago for Skyjackers, the ride quality and articulation was an instant improvement. I also noticed that the new springs were longer, my front wheels came forward about ann inch and I had better shackle angles. Well I finally purchased and replaced the rear springs, I used rubber bushings at the frame and poly at the spring to shackle location. The rears are longer than the OME’s and better centered the rear wheels in the wheel wells. They need some breaking in, so I’m going to toss some weight in back and I’m thinking I need to hit some dirt. Ride quality is about the same as the old OME’s so I know it will only improve from here.

Whatcha doing with your old springs?
My new Dobisons are garbage.

First time I’ve heard that opinion about Dobinsons. What sucks about them? They are night and day difference on my 60, I’ll never go back to OME. Eventually I’ll redo the suspension on my 40 so I’m interested in hearing your take.

I have been waiting on redline, but am thinking about just going skyjacker 2.5” soft ride. Mine rides great right now, I just have no idea what the springs or shackles are (not OEM), and I don’t want to make the ride quality worse.

I've been quite pleased with skyjackers
