Think I got the air inlet from classic cruisers, at the time I had no idea what was supposed to be on it. Come to find out they sent the brackets for a 75 and the metal inlet and hose for a later model. Its got about 6 hrs of run time, was running really well. Cranked it again in the truck and its running ruff now, reset the valves again hot a little better not much. Probably got some trash in it, been running her on gas cans. Here ya go.

Looking Beuttful!! Have you been able to take it for a drive yet? My wife and I were able to go for a cruise the other day around town. What a great feeling it was. What washer bottle did you use? Looks like you were able to use the stock washer fluid bracket. Also were you able to use the existing electrical to the windshield wiper pull switch to activate washer or did you have to re wire it.

Wow. I'd have given you cash and sold off my in-pieces 71 build for that price. Granted it was an auction with no way of knowing how it'd end, but, wow.
Thanks @btbuild should drive it for the first time since starting the rebuild tomorrow. That's great your getting a chance to enjoy yours again, its a good looking truck. You did a nice job. Yes its the stock washer bottle, bought it new from Toyota and works great. The windshield wiper switch is the stock switch, the wires going out to the washer bottle had been chewed off at the dash. The wiper motor wires suffered the same fate with most of the rest. I had to buy another used motor as the other was shot. The wiring was a total mess between the POs hack job and what the rats had chewed up, most of the harness I had to rebuild. I also had to get another hazard switch, the one that was in it actually I finally discovered came out of a mid 70s Toyota Corona. If I remember correctly I put the lite stem from the corona switch in the 40 switch, it has a LED bulb as does the headlight switch. The ignition had been wired up wrong and as long as the battery was hooked up it stayed hot, no matter if the key was on or not. That had to be rewired correctly as well. But everything works as it should now.

Lol At this point Michael if its working it will stay, the speedo cable is new. Hopefully it will work, I cant remember if it did before or not. Might have to replace the gas gauge, got about 3-4 gallons in it and it hasn't moved.
The steering wheel will either get repaired, replaced or covered.

Last part of the drivetrain blasted and etch primed. I have a huge run of parts to be topcoated in the new year, then reassemble and I should have a rolling chassis at long last.

Waded through a couple huge boxes I use as a catch-all for near clapped out parts. Trying to organize and decide what to keep. I purposely put my dremel and angle grinder away so I wouldn’t be tempted to clean stuff up before labeling and boxing. When I found the old Kioto rear reflectors that belong to my 76, I couldn’t resist. It was time for resurrection! Didn’t take before pictures... typical, scratched to heck and broken rusty mounting bolts. Wetsanded and ground off what used to be mounting studs.
Keep everything. Throw away nothing. If you toss it today you'll need it next week.
And a Mele Kalikimaka to y'all..
