No, I'm mean why remove the silver. Everything I have seen online shows the LEDs can light right thru the mirror without modifying the silver.

I wish that did work but it didn't shine through unfortunately. Its actually silver>copper>glass The LEDS would show through the copper but I didn't know how to remove the silver without removing the copper too so I just went to the glass. I was thinking of a cellphone mirror film but unless it gets too annoying its fine for now.

Installed my Slee and Engo 10k !

Spent a lot of quality truck time.... finished off the armour and sold the ARB to a local owner..... added a pair of Hella 4000's and am wiating on Slee's dual battery kit so I cna wire up all the fun stuff....

I also dicided to add rubber shelf liner and some carpet scraps to the cupholders, and console ans well jsut liner in the glove.... the two layers reeally make things not rattle....

Need to get my darn post coutn up so I can post pics !

Got that dang little steering shaft rubber boot replaced at the firewall, and finally straightened my steering wheel while I was there. The boot was a little worn and it felt like my heater was on all the time. Fixed now!

Getting here ready for deer hunting this weekend! Hopefully they'll be a few more blood stains in the back upon my return!

I repeat that to myself every time I hit ruts like that

Hey Cody do you have a write up or pics on the rear bumper ends?? im looking into "adding on" to the rear bumper and getting rid of the plastic thanks!

I’ve had my Nitro Gear 4.88’s for about a month and finally got around to doing the install. I’m not done yet, a couple more evenings and it should be buttoned up.

I’ve completed the rear third member and I have to say the gears set up great and had a good pattern with all the factory bearing shims which is nice because then you have one thick ridged shim instead of stacking thin ones. All in all I’m very impressed with the quality and ease of set up with “Nitro Gear”

I also need to give a big thanks to Yotamasters.
One of the special OE ring gear T-bolts and nut was gauled on disassembly. None of the Toyota dealers for 50 miles had one and it was going to be 4 day on special order. Eric at Yotamasters had them and came down to the shop on Saturday to get me one. Those guys are great. I also got my knuckle overhaul kit and wheel bearings from them.

I will also be trying some offset kingpin bearings in the knuckle that give an additional 2.5deg. of castor in addition to whatever radius arm stuff you’ve done. I think there will be a slight tie rod to radius arm interference though, as I already have bushings installed. I will post up my findings when I get there. It definitely needs more castor though so I hope it works.
