Played around on some snowy backroads with my brother

How was this? Any tough trails? How many hours of off-roading is there? Thinking about going for 4-5 days.
love it up that way. tons of forest roads, as far as tough trails, i don't know. we always just drive the service roads to go hiking and such. i would suggest ordering the lincoln national forest service map for the sacramento district. super good, has every service road, trails, etc. listed. my family and i could easily spend 2 weeks in that area.

Took the Cruiser up to Winter Park to do some skiing. It was sooo cold I think I had more fun driving the cruiser then skiing. Found a unplowed level of a parking garage that I played around in. The snow was up to the bottom of the doors (33 inch tires and 3 inch lift) yet it drove through it fine (even unlocked).

I also figured out how to make it do donuts. After doing the 7 pin mod just need low range 2nd gear it drifts and does donuts pretty well :flipoff2:

Anyone know the part number for the stright bypass hose that comes on the '95 units with no PAIR. The one on my '94 bends round the PAIR stuff (now deleted) but i want to make it look tidy.
I just did all that too and plugged 02s into the manifold, I'm getting that pipe from Mike here in grand junction he has cruiser yard so I'll just pull it, prob way cheaper to source this way then from Toyota, I'm gonna pull all the vacuum lines and switches too under intake since I don't run egr also

Painted and installed the OPOR sliders. Went well. Stoked on the way they look and work. Fortunately I had the help of nORTh to put them on.

Scored some Craigslist MTR's in 35x12.5R17. They still have the tiny hairs on them. Welded on rock rings and correct back spacing sealed the awesome deal. Can't wait to put some battle scars on them.

First, I must confess that this didn't happen THIS weekend, but rather the week between Christmas and New Years. My fiance and I decided that we'd like to avoid crowds (aaaaaand maybe some family) this holiday season, so we packed up and hit the road. Tested out a temporary sleeping platform solution for the 80 and some new camping gear. Basic summary:

Did some driving, and some more driving. Followed some iffy roads:

Kept driving into the sunset, woke up, did some more driving. Found ourselves here:

Did some more driving, and a lot more driving. Found this warehouse full of interesting wonders. Got to speak with the old guy they keep locked up in there. Turns out he's alright.

In all of White Rim Road, we were the first to break all the ice on the puddles- essentially had the whole place to ourselves. We encountered three vehicles the whole time, two of which had neither a CB or ham, one of which only had a CB but didn't think to switch it on. The 80 did fantastic and left nothing to desire. Sleeping inside was surprisingly spacious. Not sure if we were mentally prepared for the 15 degree temps and scraping ice off the inside of the windows, but it was a blast. Just watch out for ice on the switchbacks...
