Ya, I just went to see if Nolan was a liar. I need to address the rear window and such so I will hold out on Lights for now.

So, let's talk about a solution to the tire rubbing. 1" spacer on the front, what about the back ? Adjust the turn stops and lose some turning, Adjust the bump stops. Anything else?

You know there's not many 55 specific parts available oem anymore, so when I find out about one I stock up. Two on the shelf, they tend to rust out quick. :)

Vey odd the older light is available, but not the newer ones.

Where I rubbed was the front fender lip with 35's. It wasn't terrible but I had to adjust bumpstops to keep from really messing things up. This of course was an Alcan 4". It was OK straight, but once you turned the wheels problems started happening.

Any rubbing on the PIG has potential for pulling a whole rusty fender off

They are not close to rubbing anything turning. The only thing hitting in the front in the tire on the shock and it’s moved out due to the Ford Tower and the thick tube.

I ordered some 1” spacers. I think that should work. Literally it could rub on the shock like it is forever and would not really hurt anything but I should at least try the spacers.

Yeah. It’s been raining non stop here. For me to test it good it’s going to have to dry up

I assumed mine were not available. I am shocked as well they are. I know they rust because they face up and probably hold water most their lives.

Maybe you’ll be using those huge shackles after all!
Do you plan to run 35X12.5 tires?
I pie cut the bottom of my Ford towers to move the tops inboard and didn't have any issues up front on mine.
With 3.5 backspace wheels I had rubbing issues in the rear but not enough to cut a tire down or anything like that it was more of an annoying sound deal.
4" backspace wheels won't make that better so I would look at your 3.5 options.

It’s all @J Mack ’s fault

I got my 1” spacers installed and went out and checked clearances on my “RTI” ramp.

These phat meats would have rubbed my shocks and inner fenders regardless of 3.5 or 4” BS. The 1” spacers fixed me up on those places.

So I went to my road to drive through the ditch a few times but I was making a mess and 2 people stopped and asked if I needed help so I left without getting and good looks at it.

So I decided to hit this ditch at an angle and see what’s what.

s***.

No problem. I hooked the Warren Wench up and snatched myself out and while I was at it ran my new synthetic rope in under load and got that all correct.

Still. It’s his fault because he said my ramp won’t tell the true tale ..... and he’s right. I have some body saw work to do in that front fender lip.......that’s the beauty of having a piece of crap body. Sawzall cures all.

Are the steering links all working properly now?

I have not done an alignment yet. Waiting to get my stabilizer mounted. @Ozark cruiser is sending me a part to do that. Then I’m taking it for a toe adjustment. It’s close but I am still getting a bit more feedback in the steering wheel than I think I should.

Lower the bumpstops? Roll the edges up instead of cutting? Just brainstorming here...

Bumps are already pretty low. I don’t want it bouncing off the rubber as I drive down the road.

I’m talking to @Voodoocruisers about his formula.

If I cut the fender it would only be the little lip that turns back toward the wheel
