So, let's talk about a solution to the tire rubbing. 1" spacer on the front, what about the back ? Adjust the turn stops and lose some turning, Adjust the bump stops. Anything else?
Where I rubbed was the front fender lip with 35's. It wasn't terrible but I had to adjust bumpstops to keep from really messing things up. This of course was an Alcan 4". It was OK straight, but once you turned the wheels problems started happening.
Any rubbing on the PIG has potential for pulling a whole rusty fender off

I assumed mine were not available. I am shocked as well they are. I know they rust because they face up and probably hold water most their lives. You know there's not many 55 specific parts available oem anymore, so when I find out about one I stock up. Two on the shelf, they tend to rust out quick.
Vey odd the older light is available, but not the newer ones.
Nuttin wrong wit a little Rubbin![]()
Maybe you’ll be using those huge shackles after all!Long as it’s not binding I’m with the crazy guy
Do you plan to run 35X12.5 tires?Maybe you’ll be using those huge shackles after all!
Not at the moment.Do you plan to run 35X12.5 tires?
Are the steering links all working properly now?
Lower the bumpstops? Roll the edges up instead of cutting? Just brainstorming here...
