It looks like things will get crowded up front if you still have to fit an AC condensor?
I’m not quite to that part but yes I still need an AC condenser and 12” pusher fan to fit behind the grill.

Thank you Dave!
Did you prefer the 4BT over the OM617, I always thought the Mercedes was more civilized.
I got my muffler tucked up high and now my floor gets pretty hot right there. What did you do to remedy that?
Nice work and I'm digging that gas pedal!
I can't remember if you stated your plans for the body, disassemble and paint or ?
Nice work and I'm digging that gas pedal!
The pedal is a Lokar Lakester, I had to space it ¾” off the fire wall to accommodate the heat barrier and sound deadening material. I used a Lokar LOK-TC-1000U throttle cable and it worked very well. Can you tell us more about that throttle pedal? I used pedal out of a 62 so I could use the 3FE cable, but after driving a while it hurts my knee...
Man, am digging this build. Especially love the roof rack! What size tires and brand of rims have you got???
Keep up the good work...and the pics!
In my old 4BT powered 62, I had a Donaldson air cleaner unit. It was a tight fit!

So probably too soon for you to say if you like the throttle position since you are not driving her, eh?
It looks adjustable, which is nice! I understand you had to space it out for insulation, but did the mounting holes happen to line up with the Pig holes in the firewall. I wonder if I could run this with my 3FE cable, or if the Lokar cable would be compatible w/ the 3FE.
Did you go w/ the raw pedal?
J Mack, just want to commend you on Excellent fab skills. A lot of people are afraid of Aluminum, Core support has some SWEET looking beads Tig or Mig? Its apparent you have a lot of experience.
Thanks Bob.
