A few things on my punch list for SAS9. Fluid changes to Amsoil and all new Toyota hardware for the brakes. I got lazy last year driving over the passes to SAS8 and boiled my brakes coasting downhill with a trailer. Since then I’ve had pedal...
I also ordered the Planted 75 series seat brackets. I really hated to spend that much money ($185 each side) on brackets, but I don't have spare time to make something nowadays. Now I have to wait for them to fab them up. 😂
I worked on my rear cargo area panels and electrical system last week. I designed a couple of 3D prints for the vents and one large print to cover the fuse block cubby.
changed tranny, transfer case, and differential fluids and I’m now able to shift thru all the gears. Went with the Penn Grade GL4 80-90 weight for the trans and xfer case. Definitely needed it. Thanx for the advice.
Destroying the upholstery business in the privacy of my own home!
I have been messing around and improving... still have a long way to go. I'm very much a perfectionist. It hurts a little to put this out but I do love the constructive advise...
Ok swap time. I again am really bad at taking photos during stuff, usually just post stuff to instagram if anything, (same name on there @71harrison come hang). For this I'm just going to write down the top of mind important bits I learned for...

@Cowboy45 and I did some baselining of Angus (fzj80) his DD in prep for a CO trip with his friends two weeks from now. We both had an itch to do better than the sausage we had at our BBQ trail. So we did. Turned out well. Time to experiment...
Realized it was time for another update, but some major things have happened:

After 3 1/2 years with the Surly ECR I finally realized that it wasn’t the right platform for me. For the riding I find myself in I needed a suspension fork, a dropper post and tubeless ready wheels. I could make the dropper and wheels happen...
Man that blue 45 pickup just gets the job done. What an absolute babe. Love your troopy too - can't have too many tighty whities out there.
Question - is that loop point under your bumper a rated recovery point or a tie down? I've been trying...
Got the bumper lights installed (pain in the ass due to the bumper being installed) and managed to also install a trailer light harness while I was added. I used that t-connector 1997 Camry harness that others have used. It did require me to swap...
passenger side door. Weighs in at 45lbs😳 had to cut out about 3/4” on the cutting board to make it past the down latch. I could have just removed the down latch each time we were going to use the table but that’s annoying.
