So!!! Yesterday around 1 i went out to move Red (was in wife's parking spot.) Naturally with the tractor because it wouldn't start. So me tries to start it and gets da click again . Then me kicks in wit never happens, i remember it died at hardware store couple years ago. I look under and touched this white wire a boom fires off. So i investigates and what do i find!!

I find this broke in half it goes from positive across firewall under dash somewhere. I gets my electrical connectors (electrical tape .) and makes a strong connection. The s right up. So i moves it Ford. Then i tries da Projection lamps da all good to go. Moving on to the fuel. The pump is leaking at the barbed fitting and was'nt before. I did seal 1 fitting and the 1 that's leaking now is the 1 that did'nt. View attachment 3825916

Ya can see all da in da filter but it's not going past that point. So i goes out 5 hours later no choke no gas pedal turn da key s right off no problem. Checked lights again good to go. Next step is clean filter and reinstall or replace. Didn't touch it today because of quake this morning

Have you considered 2 filters before da fuel pump? If you haven't already of course

The pump is leaking at the barbed fitting and was'nt before. I did seal 1 fitting and the 1 that's leaking now is the 1 that did'nt.

Have 1 before pump. Holley recomends 100 micron but clogs to quick. This is working just need to watch it

In series that wouldn't help. In parallel then you get 2x the area so that would help but more or less just like using a larger filter. Just FYI.

Not worried as all this is coming out! Going 3/8" Stainless hardline from here to factory filter and mechanical pump .

Cleared and temp dropped from 30s to teens. Nothing like cold gas and carb cleaner on bare hands in this weather laying in Snow 🌨. Got filter and barb fitting remove and sealed barb reinstall and cleaned filter. Wouldnt believe in that.

Think I'm good to go. Inspection in morning .

Thats just scale! But Morton is making a load from this state . Road was paved in fall and was that deep black. Look at it now it's White . When a Truck drives by you can see the dust from the Salt. ****heads pretreat and then Salt while plowing .
